Great fight card last night. Very entertaining, especially the last 2 fights. Great to see some really competitive fights.
I'm shocked Luke Campbell lost but it's good to see a boxing card matching 50-50 fights, young upcoming fighters shouldn't have their careers stalled just because they loose a fight.

mitchell lost to a hard hitting venezuelan, a likley world champ soon....will he retire? he is a decent fighter had 3 world shots and been unlucky.
i missed campbell...bellew had a tough fight and scraped it
eubanks jnr, have to say "spike" took many hard blows especially from upper cuts, eubanks had speed, power and some amazing shots....didn't deck spike though, who was retired by his corner.
as for aj , whyte was a brawler and could have been disqualified for the events at the end of rd 1...aj took som ebig punches for once and showed he can take em and is no bruno (all muscle and no chin) whyte kept bombing em back and the crowd were muted....when aj finally rocked whyte, he staggered him and ended it with a powerful upper cut, ko and no need to count, just send in a medic....eddie heard and co have to "up" the oppo now....."expectations". | | | |
