I'm home alone that weekend and I was wondering either I could go to Ipswich or spend the day in the pub.

£32.50 to get into Portmansodding Road?

Pub.

It's probably no consolation but Spurs fans can go and watch their team at Stamford Bridge on the same day for £2.50 less.

Something's going drastically wrong here.

Ipswich have always been expensive seem to remember paying £37 one year

Train ticket was under 10 quid so travel & match ticket for 40 quid isn't too bad

Wouldn't usually support a boycott as JFH and players need the support but they are taking the Pishpek. Club should run coaches or subsidies tickets, then charge Ipswich £50 a ticket for the return fixture, two for £95, bargain. Ipswich ffs.

That;s beside the point really though.

I was thinking of going given the cheap train ticket prices and being only an hour from Liverpool St, but £32.50 for a ticket plus £3.50 booking fee?... they can go f*ck themselves.

£36.00 to watch two teams going nowhere indeed - just f*ck right off!!!!!!!!!!!

We're charging Brentford 36 quid tonight

So we have no right to moan about what clubs charge us

It's a big con all round.
What QPR are doing - whist taking the p*ss yes, it is good business as being a derby and one that Brentford fans probably thorn over all season long, they are likely to pay it and turn up on mass regardless.

Ipswich however, offer nothing other then your run of the mill Championship slog fest between two bog average teams . Would it not make more sense to charge half the amount per ticket and sell the out the away end rather then selling a pitiful amount of tickets and having rows of empty seats bringing in nothing at all?

I think it's a disgrace and anyone who buys into this sh*t, needs their head examined.

We're charging Brentford £36 for RESTRICTED VIEW.

I'm heading rapidly down the route of Ted Hendrix and finding something better to do with my ever dwindling time on earth.

We are charging Norwich £32 quid which is a run of a mill Championship game

End of the day prices are a disgrace which is why more people pick and choose nowadays

It's an insult.

We know they'll give us the spiel if questioned that the clubs need the money but, as justifiable to them as it may seem, we know we are only paying these prices due to the ridiculously inflated wages of the players.

There is simply no logical justification that someone can go away to any Premier League game for less than watching QPR at Ipswich or Brentford at our place. The fairly priced Premier League away tickets have thankfully, though unwittingly, opened this can of worms for all to see.

I begrudge paying anything more than £30 for a away ticket but I'm going Ipswich just for the day out with friends. Sadly though we're not much better, we're charging Brentford £36 (restricted view) on the gate tonight, that's disgusting.

**just see someone's already mentioned the £36**

Seems everyones a disgrace and QPR no different.
I would rather QPR fans filled out the local pubs together in a show of unity against this injustice and watched the result come in on Sky. Thus not putting their good hard earned money in the pockets of these charlatans and supporting local businesses whilst enjoying a few pints. And if I'm wrong then I dont want to be right!

Ipswich, like so many other big clubs in the Championship (Forest come to mind) have seen declining attendances over the last 5 or so years, yet still charge this amount for tickets. Surely the optimum price:attendnace ratio is below current prices?

£20 for kids really is a p@sstake.Were the prices lower if bought in advance?
The only reason for me going to ipswich is the fact that it's local to me.

Will English football end up like most leagues in the world where away following is non existant?

Part of our tradition is the away day experience and both sets of fans at the matches. But the culture among our clubs is that their taking the fans for complete mugs. Meanwhile the FA sit by idle allowing this f@ing bollocks.

Thought Sky were "Charlatens" as well?

So hard to be ripped ethically these days isn't it?

The hypothetical pub would be hypothetically showing Sky on a big screen(s) so the only money supporters and paying out is going to the pub it'self thus supporting a local business and not directly a charlatan organisation. If you know your biscuits then you might even chose a pub with one of those dodgy Kodi boxes.

Paid £33 last week at sheff Weds and £29 to sit in R block tonight. I agree the Ipswich prices are ridiculous, but that's not a one off...

The standard of football we are watching in the championship is truly woeful. Ipswich will be the same and forest and...... Only geordie fans should be willing to pay more than £20.
