Caulker on 13:12 - Dec 20 with 1983 views | runningman75 | I thought his value rapidly decreased following the demolition by Newcastle when he did not want to be on the pitch ( and might well not have been) during that drubbing.

I almost hope that's true because he's a player on big wages that would actually command a fee and if we sell him I don't think it hurts us too much. If we can shift him and Sandro in Jan somehow, we will be saving a conservative £80kp/w and our best first 11 won't change.

I can't see Sandro going anywhere unless it's to a situation like he had at WBA which struck me and bent from the off. 10 odd appearances totalling about 5 minutes. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Yeah it's a long shot, but it should be a priority, those 2 are the only ones on the old guard wages as far as I am aware - they need to be gone.

Caulker on 16:35 - Dec 20 with 1696 views | bosh67 | I think the club will go out of its way to offload Caulker and Sandro in January. Even if we have to pay half or whatever it costs. I think financially it is a must, and would allow us at least to get a few young loan players in. It is a shame with Caulker because I think he has tried to turn himself around. With Sandro the original deal was disastrous. Huge lesson learnt.

Would be a great start to 2017 if the pair of them fvcked off for the price of a Roofe or similar ilk.
Caulker on 18:13 - Dec 20 with 1552 views | PlanetHonneywood | I'd say the chance of a fee for Sandro and/or Caulker is based on hope. Let's face facts, we'd be happy for anyone to take them off our hands for neesh!

We could swap Sandro for a Smeg fridge freezer and still get increased mobility in midfield .

You'd be hard pressed to find anyone that would swap their Smeg for Caulker.

We've tried that already with WBA. Alas, they weren't prepared to let go over their tumble dryer. F.....g Fernandes was offered the Baggies clothes line and declined the deal.

And there he is, and all his family, a Brentford fan! Conspiracy theory number 2,348 I'd been told he'd got back on it and it certainly looked that way. Who knows? So many similarities to Ollies last tenure - this years Clarke Carlisle

Caulker on 08:44 - Dec 21 with 924 views | DesertBoot | Shifting Sandro appears nigh impossible. Who will take a player whose tank is empty after an hour and is on £50k a week. Would he be prepared to take a pay cut to move or do a "SWP" and collect his hefty wages for doing absolutely nothing - not that he does much anyway! Caulker has had plenty of chances to really mark himself down as a top class defender - looks like he has all sorts of issues holding him back. [Post edited 21 Dec 2016 11:20]
