It seems that every thread seems to be knocking a player, the team, the manager, the owners, the staff, former staff, etc etc etc
To the point where I find all QPR related social media really depressing at the moment. Some people have really short memories, I remember us being in worse positions than we are in, with worse players, worse managers and worse owners....and when you go through these times, you appreciate the good times even more.
From bucket collections to this...
From getting battered every week in the Prem to this...
When you sit back and think about it, we are a small club who have been punching well above their weight for years. From relegation, we waited 15 odd years for a bit of success, it doesnt come that often with Rangers so maybe some should stop moaning and just enjoy it when we do win a game or something else.
Could things be better, yes of course but it may take us another 15 years to win something. In the meantime accept the ups and downs, we're not a fking Cheslea or Man Utd.

Some of our scum friends were extremely excited to be winning silverware left right and centre on corrupt Russian money

I agree with the op, although I do think there is an enormous difference between destructive and constructive criticism (i.e. an enormous difference between a perpetual blind rage which wants to get rid of whoever happens to be in post, and a real analysis of the situation, which may be still be negative but provides a compass to understand our position and see a way forward). I think we have a very honest bunch of players here at the moment. They don't particularly shirk anything. For me it is more about getting a standard of coaching throughout the club that brings out their full potential. Right now I think the coaching is the weakest link in the club and it has been for a few years now. |  |

You're of course right.
The club, as I breifly mentioned above, has been on the verge of extinction and had that kunt Paladini at the helm -- that was the lowest ebb.
However, I feel we're on the verge of that again, different fella with a different agenda but I see what he's done to Caterham and I shudder, really shudder. That aside I just feel my "had enough vessel" is tipping red and I really do have some far more serious and close to home things to bother about...... I used to hate the apathy people had towards the club and it's issues; now I feel ground down and apathetic myself!! | |

As I wrote on another post the other day, we have a lot to be happy about off the pitch just now, and that matters to me more than the latest results. A lot of football supporters seem to be almost permanently furious men. It just isn't in my nature to feel that ANGRY about football; in our current state, I'm very worried about our terrible form, but feel for Olly and want to support the guy rather than insult him or anyone else. I get the frustration that comes out of Clive's reports, for example, and hope we can learn from mistakes and progress, but I don't feel the slightest desire to yell abuse at anyone. I can't talk about other Social Media as I don't use Facebook or Twitter but I do find it strange moaning about the moaners on here.
It's usually pretty easy to tell how a thread is developing, except for the "Les Flu" thread, so just leave the ones alone you don't like the look of. And to be fair, personally I'll never understand how this place can be described as depressing. It actually provides heavy relief from the actual football. I'm lucky (when we're shÃt) because I don't go to any games and therefore don't spend any of my hard earned on Rangers and so I can come on here and read up on the football side but just as much I come on here for the wit and repartee and Dorses nob gags.
There are a few drama queens but so what, we're all different, we all have our own style and way of positng, you're not going to like all of it but at least focus on the good stuff which far far outweighs any perceived bad stuff.
It's a football forum. We're men. Our football team is playing shit. We're going to moan.

I have enjoyed the group here by and large and I agree with the broad opinion that LFW has been a safe (relatively) haven to just dump some emotions. I think also the QPR brass do listen as well.
I certainly have enjoyed several moments with my brethren thanks to Djibril, Adel and Zamora.
Shared many memories too. Hopefully this dross of a year will retreat quickly.

Look at the risk of repeating myself I've long since fell out of love with football, Not my club just football itself, I'm just an old fashioned bloke that hasn't moved with the times, I cant relate to footballers or the sport itself anymore, I certainly cant relate to their salaries (not their fault I know).
Put me in a room with 100 professional modern day footballers and if Ainsworth or Clint Hill or even the late Alan McDonald was in the room these are the sort of blokes I'd seek out to have a chat with, proper blokes who 99 times out of a 100 put their bodies on the line for Rangers, half the players we've got in our squad nowadays can't even pass the ball 5 metres without fecking it up.
It sounds like a personal thing with Zamora, I was at Wembley of course I was but jesus wept the bloke was crocked when we got him and was crocked when he left, we got so little return for our outlay, again its not his fault we offered him the contract after all.
We've been screwed over for years with Managers/players and their contracts, we've got a Chairman whose desperate to get back to the so called promised land of the Premiership and all it's crap Sky infested money, don't blame him for that I suppose but It's not for me anymore thanks.
This here MB is the only one I post on, I don't visit others and in the current climate you've got to accept that there'll be depressing threads, strewth our record for the last six games say's it all, it really is that bad, yep I've watched us get relegated a few times and I've watched us get promoted too, and stay up on the last day (Etihad).
I really hope and pray that we'll get out of the crap this time but in all honesty I do not think that Holloway can stop the rot, he desperately needs assistance though Bircham does not have the credentials.
There are good knowledgeable ST holder posters who post on here and most of them are getting back from the games and letting rip, there's a reason for that and their entitled to let rip.
Yes I class our current situation as really bad, we'll know even more by tomorrow evening but the way I see it we stink of relegation, I've smelt it before.
