Anyone else have same dismal experience as me? I've got a seat in SAR C block Platinum with a great view but have never been able to sell it, either at cost price or reduced.
I guess the fact it's a concession may be the reason. I can't go to Saturday's rearranged fixture and this may be the same for many others like me, who had prior engagements as there seem to be many unsold tickets in A and B blocks, even with the lure of pie and pint. As a purchaser on Twickets (My Burton Ticket tomorrow is via this) I've wondered if you're actually allowed to purchase a concessions ticket if you are not a qualifying person?It does not say anything on there about the that, only that you must be a member if buying a ticket in a members area, which I am.
Will they actually stop you at the turnstile and turn you away leaving an empty seat, my suspicion tells me they won't and on the face of it, if it gets more bums on seats and the ticket is paid for, what matter? |  | | |

Wasn't sure of the ruling on that but I agree, that is indeed a flaw. One is free to charge what they like when selling and certainly no more than cost price, so it shouldn't matter what category person buys it. I can see that a purchaser who would normally be a junior or other concession might think they had a right to a reduced price, but looking at Twickets site, it is always likely to be cheaper than normal price so no big problems. Seems a long way from the Viagogo days when people boasted of selling their Premier League tickets for huge sums for the big name games. | | | |

I have sold our season tickets on there in the past but now it rejects my sales as it doesn't recognise my email address and I can't be bothered to deal with it for the sum of £5,as that's all I ever for each ticket.

I rarely ever managed to get more than half my ST per game cost when I couldn't attend in the Prem under viagogo, apart from Arsenal which was like £200 so I gave it to a mate for free as I suspected it was tourist away fans paying over the odds. So I suspect the issue is like any market, a lack of demand |  | | |

i was going to say that the biggest issue is that we dont have much demand for tickets at the moment! Viagogo was great when we were in the premier league but the demand was higher. Ive sold my seat once via twickets and had to sell it reduced, but why would you buy it full price when there are seats via the box office with a smaller booking fee? Viagogo had massive fees for tthe buyer but people paid them because most the games were sold out so it was the only way to get tickets. Thats not the case now. |  | | |

I also sold our tickets during the promotion season in 2014,but I wasn't trying to make a profit,only sell the games I couldn't make.Twickets charged me £4 for each ticket I sold,even though my kids ticket went for £5.They did rectify it after I emailed them though and they refunded it. | | | |

But if the seller has paid concession prices for the ticket, why should they be allowed to sell it at non-concession prices? Low demand at the moment means most tickets are below face value, but that's irrelevant when you're designing a system to tally with the list of season ticket holders surely?
Apparently Crystal Palace are starting with them soon as well, so will be interesting to see how that goes. |  | | |

I use it to buy tickets and it's always been good. I think people aren't that aware of it so will go for an available seat via the club. Also avoids the £3.50 nonsense booking fee. | | | |

Yes but presumably the club will insist that a concession ticket is sold on the same concessionary terms? Did viagogo allow you to sell a senior ticket as a normal one? | | | |

Viagogo came in for a fair amount of criticism - but I can honestly say that in the 4 seasons they operated with us I only had one unsold ticket. This was a last minute sale for a boxing day match with WBA when there was a tube strike. |  | | |

There have also been 3-5000 other empty seats in the last couple of years. The people to blame for that are the managers/players for poor results and/or the club for high prices. Bit unfair to compare it with a period when we were either being promoted or playing in the Prem, when games would be oversubscribed due to fairweather fans, tourists or away fans who haven't managed to get a ticket for the away end.
I see some people on there trying to sell their tickets for face value, which there is no reason for anybody to pay, when there are still thousands for sale in the box office with a lower booking fee. Seems like the ones that sell are the sensibly priced ones and the ones where you have one or two adult seats together, which I imagine would be the type of people mostly looking for tickets. | | | |

Don't talk to me about twickets. I couldn't make 4 games in November and December and decided to use them. The games were Norwich Villa Derby and Wolves. I am sure one of them was Ollies first game. I gave them plenty of time to sell them but all I got was a message that said.
Your listing for QPR v Norwich City has expired.
waste of time. I won't use them again I will just offer on here or Twitter. | | | |
