In the first 30 mins my living room has resonated at least 6 times to the cry of FFS England!!

Update 36 mins - all is forgiven

Not a fan of Dier (just scored), Henderson why? Hart West Ham legend should have done better!
If you look back over the years you always had a playmaker. None out there

How much did Citeh pay for Kyle Walker?
He's been awful and should had been off no mistake.
Great for QPR though...

I know it wasn't a great start for Marcus Rashford but he is a lovely player to watch, really makes things happen and that was a lovely finish from him

At least they were forced to play by Slovakia tonight.

Never knowingly right.

DReadfully dull and boring first half. Second half much improved but next summer will be another wasted trip to a finals.

Just seen we committed 15 fouls. I counted Dier committing at least 6 of them, that's 40%. Well done that man. Vinnie Jones would be proud of that record. How he stayed on the pitch is a mystery.

I would no more think of watching an England football game, than I would any other international footballing event. Its all a shower of ol' monkey toss.

FIFA, UEFA, diving, feigning injury and frankly, players more worried they don't get injured than blood and guts, made me turn off years ago. The fact that we have someone like Southgate in charge is hardly inspiring, but even if we had Pep, Jose and Sir Alex in tandem, they've still got naff all to pick! The effect of flooding our league sides with foreign players means we have not been developing our talent, but that of others.

Even if you detest rugby, the sheer effort and commitment them blokes put in by comparison, renders football almost inept as a result. Ditto the Olympians as well.

I am sure some have valid reasons to want to go to Russia next year, not sure I can think of them, but paying a lot of cash to watch dross, exit early and get a thumping off some ex-KGB goon, are three solid reasons to give the whole thing a body swerve.

I thought England did quite well after a poor first half an hour. Should have won by a few more against a half decent side.

That central midfield is poor but we look quite exciting with Rashford, Kane and Alli

I enjoyed it and found the first half quite open and exciting. Slovakia came to attack and played some nice football. England's equaliser came at a good time and from then they looked the more likely but it was still a bit nervy to watch.
