A belated say on the event at Loftus Rd last night. Went along with Stan jnr and I must say we thoroughly enyoyed it. Andy Sinton replaced Jamie but to be fair what a cracking bloke. He seemed genuinely upset about the reception he got when he came back with Wednesday which we now know wasn't exactly his fault.
Phil Parkes as funny as hell, plenty of stories of the League Champions side of 76 ( still think we won it by default ) and Big Bob Hazell , what a gent.
Best of all , Magic Hat , probably could have just sat there on his own all night telling yarns of yore, notably his rendition of the Stoke tunnel incident with a passable impression of Gerry Taggart.
Super evening with plenty of time after to mingle and chat with them, photos etc well worth 20 quid with a pie and a pint thrown in.
Well done the club.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Just listened to the podcast of it this afternoon, It was brilliant.

Parksie was my first rangers hero, very funny. Though when he was asked who the hardest man at rangers was during the 70s I was sure he was going to say David Webb. More than a little surprised by who he said and the stories he told to back it up.

Bob hazel was fantastic too, he felt the same way as we did about Bowles and currie, idolised them.

And Gallens stories about macca were very funny.

it’s a ‘must listen’ for any fan who used to go back then.

I went along too. Got tickets for my old man for Xmas.

Was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. Was expecting the typical PR trained answers but seemed a lot more genuine and honest. Phil Parkes stories about Dave Clement had me in stitches.

Wish the Club had done these things when I was still living in London.

Will take a listen later.

Listened to it yesterday. Absolutely brilliant.

Very funny stories and genuine love for QPR, the stadium/atmosphere and stories of magical matches down the years.

It's 1hr and 40mins, but well worth taking the time out to listen to it.

Loved the letter AS read out from Ernie Howe, who on the day didn't seem that bothered, but was genuinely moved by the reaction of the fans.

AS sais he wouldn't be in many fans all time Rangers XI - he would be in mine, but not shall we say the 'best' 11

Top sentiments he wrote to AS though - well played Ernie!
