Probably not a lot- not many teams in the Championship would take many points from those away games, although Bristol City tomorrow might be a surprise oportunity given their recent work load and fixture list.

Won't matter much if we do what we should in the next clutch of home games which includes Barnsley, Bolton and Sunderland. Not that we ever do what we're supposed to but if we can get those nine points, plus the nine points clear of the bottom three we already are, we'll be in an ok position by the end of March. Unless you think several of Bolton, Barnsley, Sunderland, Birmingham and Burton are all suddenly going to take 18 points from their next 10 games.

Can i please refer you to your assumption “an amazing set of results “ wouldn’t occur at the end of last season?

Until the maths are done Ollie and the boys need to be giving 1,000%

Having said that, if we’re 13 points clear by end of Feb I will be more comfortable

The important thing is that we overreact to all five results.

True, the ludicrous end to last season shows almost anything could happen.
Can't see more than 2 points from those 5 aways, but you never know, and guaranteed we'll lose at least two of the home games we really need to win, but after those 10, hopefully we'll have picked up enough points to keep our heads above water.

Bare bones.

Careful now mate. What did you say last season? About a really unlikely set of results that had to happen for us to be in trouble, that almost all came in??

The only two wins away from home this season have been against the two worst teams in the League. Zero points. QPR and away just don't go together. Home games are crucial now

Logic says nil points but we might scrape a draw somewhere.

As Northern says our homes games could see us in a reasonably safe position by March end. The downside of that is will we repeat last season in thinking we are safe and then lose 7 out of the last 8 matches as the players have mentally switched off.

In a way it would be better to still have that element of relegation still a possibility in April so that at least we might actually put some effort into the last 8 games rather than go about our business as if we don't give a monkeys if we lose. It was painful viewing last season which I don't want a repeat of.

We will win one of those thus balancing out a loss against either Barnsley, Bolton or most likely Blunderland.

Can I please refer you to this season's Championship fixture list, which still has QPR on it as far as I'm aware - so the amazing set of results didn't occur. Admittedly it came a lot closer than I thought it would, but I said it would require a very unlikely set of results for us to get relegated and we didn't get relegated, so I was right.

But didn't.

We need 19 more points to get to the magic 52 mark, we've got 18 games left.

Beat Barnsley, Bolton, Sunderland, Birmingham and Sheff Wed at home we could do it without winning another away game at all (which is just as well, as we're fcking abysmal away from home).

I think we'll get a draw tomorrow, and we'll win at Reading and Hull and that'll be it from our away games this season - which is pathetic, but should do.

Clivey! You haven't been listening to the Loftcast - after the wins at Brum and Burton, the lads 'know how to play away from home' now. It'll be Championship-winning season with Adel and Ale and the rest in away games from now on - 3-0 at Boro, 3-0 at Sheff U, er... 1-4 at Scunthorpe. That sort of thing.

Bare bones.

Agreed, we are terrible away from home, but in those two, we "picked" the right two teams to beat away. Games against our relegation rivals are must-win games. Last season, Holloway picked his best team for the Newcastle game, at the expense of the Burton game, and it nearly cost us.

RFA

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
