Shame, playing Dulwich Hamlet on their own ground who finished 10 points ahead of them was always a big ask.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

Erm, Dulwich Helmet share Tooting and Mitchams ground.

Gutted for Hendon, I went to the semi on Thursday and they put on a great performance.

Isn't that where this game was, and as Dulwich are at present tenants, does that not technically make it a home game?

Dulwich are there owing to being kicked out by a greedy owner who not only wants to sell the ground to make money but also tried (not sure if successful) to take away the name that the club holds by registering it as a patent. Tooting & Mitcham kindly allowed them to play at their ground while the whole thing is being sorted out or another venue is to be chosen. I believe this arrangement will continue into next season. Dulwich did play a game at Carshalton, the London Senior Cup semi which they lost 1-0 to Balham in one of the best games I have seen all season, including most of QPR's. The fascinating thing in all of this is that the two were in the same Division, the Bostik Premier. However, while Dulwich promote to the National League South, Tooting & Mitcham have been relegated, possibly to the Bostik South depending on re-alignments. So, ostensibly, yes this was a home game for Dulwich although one could say at present all games are away games for them.

The OP said 'their own ground' when it isn't.

Thanks Oz. I just didn't think there was any need for the "erm", especially when people are only half right
