Scteve isn't the head. He's still a dick with a hair island but it's not an easy job.
What he doesn't have in his favour is the fact he isn't proven at this level and doesn't know the players.
Hate to say it but that's why Warnock fails in the prem but doesn't tend to at lower levels, he knows the lower level players and has a network that keep him informed. Like a processional should. (not a call to recruit him, yet) [Post edited 21 Aug 2018 22:58]

You can’t sack a manager after 4 league games. He needs to be given the whole season. Perhaps bring in harry as his assistant for a few games. Say want you like about harry but he COULD use motivation and the young players might click with Harry. Just don’t let him spend money |  | | |

Clearly not entirely his fault. Very weak inexperienced squad but he's tried to get that group of inexperienced players to play a way they clearly can't. He's made decisions with goalkeepers midfielders and forwards that clearly show he hasn't looked at what these players didn't do in the past. If he's guilty of one thing it is not doing his homework on the last few seasons of players that have relentlessly under performed and not thinking about what to do to simply make us solid, rather than trying to play a style with one of the weakest squads we've had in a decade. |  |

Being more direct isn't a bad thing (I do think complete long ball is ineffective though) but WTF is the point of playing more direct if our striker is Washington. Play Sylla, at least.

He put his faith in Ingram and ts probably cost him his job, Ingram has to be dropped immediately and probably loaned out with another keeper coming in on loan.
We were ok for 40 minutes then fell apart, I thought the first subs worked and we looked a threat but the Sylla for Rangel sub just made things a lot worse.
Baptiste did well as did Rangel the BFG looked league 2 and Bidwell had a shocker
The DOF seems to be getting away with murder though this is Les's squad and its not very good and we are not even remotely competitive.

Sorry Brian I didn’t mean to split the fans but I genuinely wondered if those supporting McLaren still did after this evening!... if they do then fair enough it’s all about opinions.
