Best way to Ally Pally 20:39 - Dec 27 with 2093 views

Evening all,

I'm taking my two daughters down to Ally Pally to watch Horrible Histories the stage show tomorrow (Yep I know the darts is on).

I'm travelling from St Albans. Is it better to train or drive for a 1.30pm start. What's the parking like etc?

Personally would train into St Pancras and then across to Kings Cross or up to Finsbury Park for the quick hop a couple of stations up there. Whole area will be full of drunk people dressed as Minnions though.

Parking is decent at Ally Pally - I went to see New Order there on a Friday night last month and had to drive at the last minute. Thought I’d be screwed and have to dump the car somewhere on a double yellow and cross fingers but there’s loads of on-site parking and stewards etc. Get there in good time and you should be fine

I would go on the train via West Hampstead, get the overground to Highbury from there and then the train to Ally Pally.

Drive (or take the bus) to Hatfield and take the train down from there is another option. I did that going to the Ally Pally from St. Albans a few years back and it was straightforward enough.
