i last went in 2001 for a dull 1-1 draw and was like a war zone after the game, always trouble they are a bit like Millwall but with funny accents.

I haven't been to Fratton since we won there to stay-up in 2008, but I think it's a lot calmer than it used to be (unless you're a Saints fan). We drank with a Pompey mate in the Rutland in Southsea before and after the game and didn't have any bother. Don't know about their policy on colours, but if you're in a small group, that was a friendly little back street boozer. |  |

There's some lovely pubs in Portsmouth. Sadly the wife is due in mid Feb and she was two weeks early with our first so I've been put on gardening leave and will sadly miss the match. This will show how old it is, Karl Ready was doing the normal defensive warm ups. Ball being crossed in and he was leaping like a salmon. Clearing everything the coach was crossing wonderful it was.
Until the first cross came over from Pompey and he ducked the cross for their first of three goals. First game ever I left early as I got the coach down from traveling from Peterborough that morning.
