But when asked what question would be asked in a second referendum nobody in favour has said leave will be an option it's either the EU deal or remain.

The EU deal IS for the UK to leave.

Yeah but that’s ‘their’ deal from them lot over there. We want a British deal for British people and to be thanked for our grandparents winning the war.

Deal voted down

May gone by 12th April
NO Mp's will vote for A50 repeal
Extension for 1/2 years
Tory's in meltdown.
Labour headless chickens.
UKIP back on the radar.

What's changed?

I heard Lucy Powell his morning going on about a plan, asking the EU for what Cameron asked for on restricted free movement.. you know, that thing the EU rejected and started off the referendum

But he (Cameron) didn’t get rejected? Do you know what he promised / asked for and what was agreed or have you read somewhere that he got rejected?

I also voted remain and I've more or less come round to this view as well. I think our rejoining at some point down the road is inevitable, as I can't see our country isolating itself from the people who should be our natural partners and allies working out well. I really hope I'm wrong about that. However, if and when we rejoin we won't get the terms we currently enjoy. Next time round we'll have to do it fully - in the Schengen zone , adopt the Euro, lose the current budget rebate, to name the main opt outs we have now, and sign up to whatever political union might exist at that time.

At my age, I won't be around to see that but I'm grateful that for the majority of my working life we were in the EU.

I voted Leave and totally regret it now... Everybody lied in the lead up to the referendum but I think the Leave campaign came out with some terrible claims which were never going to be achievable.
Having said that I think the Remain campaign was a total disaster. They simply didn’t get their message across well enough... they should have engaged the young adults of the UK more and even hard working immigrants stating their visions of the future. They had all the wrong people banging the Remain drum... I remember one particular evening watching the news and seeing Bob Geldof, followed by Neil Kinnock and then Tony Blair advising us to remain... I turned to my wife and said "Are they deliberately trying to lose this vote"?

I once had an argument with my mum at 15 years old. I said I was going to leave home and stormed out of the house. I returned a couple of hours later though as was hungry.

Then any MP voting against the EU deal does not want us to leave, if only they were honest.

The EU deal has been negotiated by the PM, some actually call it Mays deal, and rejected by parliament. So it is parliament and all those labour politicians not to mention Jeremy Corbyn who are xenophobic as you are suggesting by wanting a British deal for British people as you quaintly you put it. I think you need to rethink your post

Point taken but the ERG have their own agenda and they think the deal means not leaving. I'll rephrase and say most MPs accept the deal means leaving the EU and hence voted against it for that reason

I've said before that I think another remain/leave vote is the only fair way to solve this issue, with a follow up question for leave of deal or no deal. I'd even agree to a 60% remain vote required to overturn the original vote.

The only issue I can find with that plan is that we haven't really addressed the points you raise in your post. The remain campaign will probably have learnt nothing and there's nothing to stop leave making terrible claims as you put it. It all hinges on the voters being more informed after over 2 years of this so they can ignore the politicians and make up their own minds.

Not forgetting May said LEAVE means leave 3467 times.

May/EU deal is half leaving, why the ERG and DUP and a number of Mp's don't want it.

The rest as you say, just don't want to entertain leaving in any form. which means hard or soft Brexit was always just fugging.

I'm not entirely sure how anyone in their right mind thinks Corbyn's ide of a Norway+ model or Customs Union in any way shape or form satisifies Brexit.

It keeps the UK tied to freedom of movement.
It keeps UK tied to EU market unjder EU rules governed by the ECJ.
Doesn't allow external free trade deals.

How is that Brexit for Britains?

The man who has spent his entire political career shouting down the good ship EU and those who sail in her.

Blokes a fraud, but then again that can be levelled at any number of them.

'You didn't know that was wrong, but now you do. If you do it again, I'll know you are doing it on purpose.'

It is possible to be critical of the EU and vote Remain you know. I did.

EU is a fcking basket case, but I think we are still better off in it, trying to reform it, than out of it, letting 27 countries take us up the shitter.

No need to reply, this opinion was formed over the last three years and is unlikely to change.

There won't be another referendum.

Firstly The Electoral Commission would have to side with Leave in the question being the same. Leave Remain

2nd the risk that Leave would win again is highly likely and by a greater margin.

3rd Even Remain don't really believe they would win another vote on the terms of just Leave Remain. that's why you are seeing the revoke A50 being spun out but it holds no water and won't happen.

It's now likely Brexit won't now happen, but the consequences will be severe and long, you would have to be completely stupid not to realise that.

There is no easy mend to bring the country back together.

I don't think Tories or Labour could win a majority in a GE

The march tomorrow means nothing, just a load of noise The march against the Iraq war had a Million (just in London) and did nothing.
