On one side we have a spineless and rudderless government full of self-serving narcissistic cnts utterly divided.

On the other side we have spineless and rudderless opposition full of self-serving narcissistic cnts utterly divided.

Can someone please show us a third way beyond flipping Vince. Failing a Chuka et al third way then Disco, you're the man no to save us from jezwecan, Diane, Sneery Emily and McDonnell no?

I tried making that point to someone I know who hates Trump and thinks the protests are justified, all I said was you have to differentiate between Trump the person and the fact he’s President of the United States and just for this once remember why he is here and show some respect for the real heroes of 75 years ago. It fell on deaf ears.

We absolutely should honour and respect the fallen but we need to try to avoid starting yet more pointless wars. Trump's paranoid attitude towards Iran and the warships he has sent to the Gulf amount to dangerous sabre-rattling which could drag the US, and inevitably, us, into a war based on one man's irrational bias. More loss of life, more memorials. On and on it will go unless we finally realise that we are never going to have a world where everyone has the same ideals, politics and religion.

This is not about left or right, it's about coexisting.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

Yes, that is poor and I frown on it but when these people protest about Trump, one of their main arguments is that he is pursuing policies which will make vast areas of this earth uninhabitable. You - presumably, unless you are on the international space station - and I, all of us, live on this earth and have no alternative but to do so.

Oh, and while Trump is arguing that climate change is a Chinese conspiracy, he has quietly beefed up the flood defences around his Mar-al- Lago resort...because the sea is flooding it more and more often

Here's another video, of another elderly trump supporter being attacked by the oh so caring left. The only "gammons" I see are the contorted, angry faces of the left.

I'm sure Watford will no doubt find a way to lay the blame on the elderly fella though

Corbyn and Khan should be charged with incitement with the way they whipped up this mob

Corbyn and Khan are allowed to convey their thoughts about political leaders. In no way can their rhetoric be deemed to have incited violence... which we can all agree in any case is not justifiable on any side

Ironically, I'm sure you either have no issue, or have ignored, Trump's actual incitement:
-calling Mexicans rapists and murders, which has led to an increase in hate crimes towards Mexicans
-riling up anti-Islamic rhetoric repeatedly, including calling for a blanket ban of people from certain Muslim countries (including persons with valid immigrant credentials) entering the US, which again has led to an increase in hate crimes towards Muslims

Also, for all the talk of WW2, lest we forget that in July 2017, a group of literal Neo-nazis held a march in Charlottesville, Virginia to prevent a statute of a Civil war general being removed ... and who chanted all kinds of racist drivel, which resulted in an innocent person being killed. ironically, for all the talk of patriotism on the US right, its ironic how much these idiots have no issues celebrating generals who waged war/committed treason against the united states to defend their right to hold slaves

And when Trump had the chance to condemn these NEO NAZIS(!!!!!), he said there were "fine people on both sides"

but again, im sure you have no issue with that

Trump and his cronies know climate change is real. The oil companies were the first to start collecting the data but sat on it for years and years; Trump's backers know what's up. But they know that to make the substantive systemic changes needed to address it would be somewhat disadvantageous to the wealthy in the short-term. So the program is essentially 'The world's ending so fck it, let's enjoy ourselves whilst it lasts and fck everyone else'. Eco-fascism essentially.

Only just got in and seen this. Funnily enough, I’ve been at work all day.

Not sure I called anyone thick, although I might have done if he said something thick.

All sorts of people say thick things, me included, it’s got nothing to do with class. As ever you play the man not the ball implying there’s snobbery involved. As we both know, you just can’t deal with anyone who argues back.

If you want to have a chat about working class credentials, we can do that. We can throw in how valuable our contributions to post-apocalyptic society will be too. Shall we start with whatever it is paulparker does in his office full of menopausal ladies?

The most perceptive and intelligent people I’ve ever met have been working class, and I’ve known countless media types who wouldn’t know which way up to hold a book. (Most of them make it because they went to private sschool - but you love a bit of them, right?)

Life is complicated, and much as you might like to think a middle aged ex-city boy and his crew of ED cases represents the whole British working class, you don’t.

Been a long time since I read Marx — probably knew as many actual working class people as your man Farage. Foucault? One of these things you always seem a bit obsessed by without knowing much about it myself. Cuckolding was another one.

Right I’m going to have my dinner. Let’s not make this a habit.

Bruv I just had an issue with you saying someone deserved to be stabbed. I’m sure what happened to the old boy was terrible and I know there are some horrible lefties out there.

It would be boring if we all thought the same way. As it is this is virtually a pro-Hard Brexit thread now.

Imagine the reaction here if that was happening.

if you're going to come up with a random, arbitrary stat thats clearly not based in fact, i suggest you dont use such round numbers. they make it obvious you're talking out of your a*s and not basing it in any truth. itd be much more believable if you said "91k mexicans..." instead of 100k...

just to clarify what you're saying, you are suggesting that 1.2 million Mexicans illegally enter the US each year? 1 in 100 of the entire Mexican population illegally comes to the US?

Obviously illegal immigration is an issue. But 1) Trumps rhetoric demonizes Mexicans as rapist, drug dealers, criminals (when in fact, the overwhelming majority arent and they provide a valuable service for the US economy), 2) building a wall is a cost-ineffective way to address the issue. a wall would not resolve the primary issues, which relate to visa overstays, etc. you have to be pretty simple minded to think that a wall would resolve the issue, but for fortunately for trump, the average american is an ignorant moron who cant locate the US on a map

They are only trying to get back into territories that were snatched from them illegally in 1848,

Trump probably has no idea of the history though he probably thinks california, new mexico arizona and texas were given to the USA as a pressie rather than stolen from Mexico in a vicious premeditated territorial expansion that targeted both military and civilians

What i enjoy the most from all this Trump bashing is the fact that the policies surrounding the Wall and the banning of movement from certain muslim countries were not his policies to begin with.

the American government's huge subsidies for it's horrible agri-corporations have meant cheap american corn etc has flooded the mexican market since NAFTA came in to being, causing wide-spread job losses and being a catalyst towards mexican migration. A level economic playing field would probably be as effective as a f*****g massive wall.

Lol.

120Y party wins by just 683 votes over a 8-week party LOL

If you add the Brexit/Tory /Ukip votes together... 50% of the vote against Labour 31% LOL

Labour still not in power, still have JC as leader... LOL May gone Boris heading to no:10

Should hold another vote, people didn't know what they were voting for, voters can change their minds, they were lied to, etc., etc., etc LOL

So much to LOL about
