Today the government has announced the scrapping of the TV licence being free to over 75’s unless they are on pension credit. Yet anothe kick in the gonads for those who have been prudent to compensate those who haven't.
Despite saying I wouldn’t post on this thread again I need to respond to that by saying that all over 75 year olds should cancel their direct debits to the licence people and see what happens. It would be great to see around 1,000,000 oaps taken to court and sent to jail so that they can watch tv for free. They won’t though because they are too honest and would continue to pay it.
