Was it 1997 when we got to 5th round and took over Selhurst Park and lost 2-1 against Wimbledon?

Was that the last time we got that far in the FA Cup?

Regardless we're in the draw whatever happens...

Rangers cruise through to 5th round in away draw.

Never knowingly right.

Correct - after The Goal in the fourth round against Barnsley.

A magnificent football club, the love of our lives, finding a way to finally have its day in the sun.

Didn't Hately score in that one? I think I remember him cupping his ear to our fans and thinking how little self awareness he had.

Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah. His crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Yup I remember that game it was one of my first trips away from loftus road..... Where is encountered a swamp for a toilet and had to navigate the toilet like Spiderman to make sure pi$$ didn't find it's way into my shoes.

It was the first time I really believed we could work the cup!! Only to have that dream shattered by a two Bob club in a sh it hole of a ground. I remember we signed Vinnie Jones shortly after that in the summer and meeting him on a train to Newcastle pre season.

I got a few lads to sign a note pad I had in the old concourse of Kings Cross and my dad had the great idea of getting them all to sign different pages.
So on the train I got them all to sign again. Vinnie Jones was nothing but a gentleman and didn't mind at all called me son and asked if I'll play for QPR one day. Kevin Gallen on the other hand had to be reminded that I was only a kid after saying he wouldn't sign my note pad as he already had done in the station. By non other than Vinnie Jones.

I know he seemed like a spoiled little prat and premadonner but I liked him for what he was like to me that day.

BTW Kevin redeemed himself the year West Brom won the league and beat us 3-1 at home last game of the season by given a piss head the benefit of doubt and holding a 3 week old baby named Ray, after Ray Jones and posing for pictures.

I love our club

here's an interesting stat:

there are 20 clubs left in the hat for the 5th cup

There are actually more championship clubs (8) than premier league clubs (7) still in it. 3 from L2, and 1 from L2 and conference

Doncaster at home please, or failing that, away, as there are over 3,300 away tickets available and we are massive like Leeds.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Give or take, half the teams left in rank above us, half below.

Meaning a very good chance of either a very winnable tie and a place in the quarter finals...or an (ahem) 'glamour tie' / good day out

Lots of ifs & buts before then of course...I predict we beat Pompey with a bit to spare (2 or 3-0), get a so called easier tie in the 5th, all get over excited, then balls it up.

Poll: Best hug a stranger / fall down five rows / 'limbs' late goals this season

If I could pick the draw, I'd have us home to AFC Dons.

City would have to go to Palace

United would have to go to Wolves

Scum would have to go to Millwall.

Normally I would be pining for Shrewsbury away as have not been there, but I would prefer we win, so AFC at home would do.

Fck me this is far more exciting than I would have thought!!!!!
