I saw somewhere that Adkins is wanting to sit down with the Hull City owners and get some reassurances about next season. It's conceivable that he could be available - as far as I know he still has a house in Fleet from his Reading days.
"Thank you for supporting Queens Park Rangers Steep Staircase"... and I thought I'd signed up for a rollercoaster.
Did he steal your ice cream as a kid or something?
No...I’m just thrilled with our progress under his tenure as DOF. Looking forward to another miserable relegation fight next season. F uckin marvellous.
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot

I can't find the original Times material but the two tweets (yes, I know, tweets ) about this say the Sherwood turned it down.

FFS how can you trust these people to report on anything when they get the basic facts wrong. We didn't get fined £42m and we haven't paid what we did actually get fined yet either. It's payable in instalments. Utter w*nkery.

Pathetic isn't it The standard of reporting on these sites these days is shocking. No excuse these days either with information freely at hand.
The longer this went on the more I was struggling to understand the desire to get rid of SM with a handful of games to go. However, that WLS report would kind of indicate that the board panicked in to thinking that we were going down unless we appointed a new manager very quickly, but with the 4 points Eustace got from the Millwall and Swansea games maybe that calmed them down a bit and they have now decided that they can take a bit longer to widen the search now and find the next mug, I mean manager.
