Back in the EFL, dunno why but that's cheered me up a bit on another SHIT Saturday result wise, been to Brisbane Road in years gone by and remember it as a big old stadium, thought it was a sad day when they got relegated out of the league.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Yeovil gone which is a shame. Alec Stock's old team and famous years ago as giant-killers on their sloping pitch. The league's oldest team, Notts County could go as well.

Didn't realize about Yeovil, that's a shame I was there for the 1-0 win (CA penalty) Notts County as you say facing relegation too, football can be a bastard at times.

In league 1 I see Barnsley have reeled Luton in, fantastic season they've had.

Well done to them. I remember going to a cup game when we lost 3-2 must have been around 17 years ago. As I live in East London now fairly local team and may check out some league 2 games next season.

Yeovil was one of my all time favourite away days (mostly for everything around it than us cheating our way to an undeserved win tbh), sad to see them drop

My local club Molesey FC got relegated on Saturday - terrible business.
Had to win at all costs and better the score of one the teams above. They dominated the game but couldn't score and then got caught with a sucker punch down the other end. Lost 1-0 and tuns out the other results didn't go their way either. Cue mass brawl at full time between the two teams. Lots of it - carried on into the bar after, nearly spilt my Fosters at one point. Back to combined Counties next season. Eiish.

Always have a fair degree of empathy for any league team who drop out altogether...easy to imagine ourselves in that dark and gloomy predicament. Pleased to see any team like that come back alive.

I suppose what makes it particularly poignant is the fact QPR are now basically in the same situation the Os were when i was a kid, and we'll presumably be in their position sooner or later if the FA have their way. One assumes it's just a question of time, unless something changes for the better.

And the traitorous, gutless BBC always harping on about Real fcuking Madrid all the time. Couldn't care less about real news, especially in their own country. It's as if there are only half a dozen football teams in the world any more and most of them are foreign.

Yes, great to see them back in the league. A decent community club living in the shadow of a larger neighbour.

Shafted completely by the previous foreign owners and rescued to a certain extent by their new foreign owners.

Also once again, Brisbane Road the closest league ground to Eastside Towers.
