I've thought about this and my answers are:
1) Amsterdam, and Ajax. Museums, architecture, laid-back people, great football and watching Ajax Academy train. And spliff.
2) Boston, and the Red Sox. Imagine watching all that twisted angst up close. It would be hysterically funny. Plus I love the Sox.

I'd probably end up in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, where my partner comes from. Nice food, hot in summer (40oC+), freezing in winter (-30oC), low level corruption everywhere, not much to do.
FC Dordoi of Bishkek are general winners of League & cup most seasons in an 8 team League.

Sadly, for those who enjoyed the simple rudimentary pleasures of watching football in a literal shit hole, Boghead Park is now a housing estate. The days of having a piss into abutting gardens is no more, well I presume no more as I’ve no idea if their present day facility offers niceties such as toilets. [Post edited 16 May 2019 16:43]
