Deserves a bit of publicity on 08:29 - Jul 10 with 1689 views | kingo | Just went to order it to read on my flight to NY and it isn’t released till October. I will still get it though, so many happy memories of his runs down the wing and a ball in to Stan or Don to finish. Wolves away was the ultimate.

Deserves a bit of publicity on 15:51 - Jul 10 with 1247 views | w7r | Ah, my favourite R. Ever. No exceptions. Dave was a neighbour of my uncle Mike when he was living in Emsworth up until a few years ago. Uncs managed to get me a framed, hand signed piccy of him in his QPR pomp. My missus wanted to throw it out a few years back as "she didn't recognise him" - grounds for divorce. A mesmerising sight as a 13 year old watching him with his rolled-down socks, curly locks tearing all and sundry a new one down the left while they tried to kick lumps out of him before sticking a killer ball in. What would he be worth these days? cheers for the memories, Dave! Thanks for posting this. I shall be ordering from my local bookshop.
