I think however it goes this season, I do just like how he goes about his business and how he come across as a person. A very likeable human.

Love how transparent he is across all the issues covered in this weeks match preview, honest and refreshing using similar antidotes to other managers but delivering them with more conviction & feeling.

Clive I know you can't say too much about what he is like off air but I am sure it must of been one of your nicer interviews you have ever done?

Wishing him and us the best of luck this season, I hope he's given the time to make the best of it.

Yep, doesn't try to be the funny man or the intellectual. No airs( or hairs) or graces just straightforward. Hope he does well because he seems genuine.

I shouldn't think there are many Warburton haters out there at the moment but I'm going to get this in early: even if things go a bit pear-shaped later, and whatever question marks there may be about how his approach fits in with our DoF strategy (I've a few worries) he's here now and needs to be given at least two seasons.

I sit close to the duggout. MW knows exactly what he wants, his instruction from the bench was planned lacking knee-jerk and the players listened. Constantly demanding the high press and keeping the shape. Haven't seen such touchline presence from one of our managers for so long.

Signs are good.

Hopefully we won’t sling him out with the bath water if we have a slump.

He's doing the business, so nice to see a cohesive team and ethos finally.
Starting to feel like a really good fit. Already giving me the impression that he's been here for a really long time.

Like others have said we must preserve with MW as no doubt there will be wobbly patches.

Reckon Bristol will be after blood on Sat and can see a narrow defeat on the cards. Still some lovely options all around the park for us now which is lovely to see.

This

Such a change from last season. And I know not everyone agrees but I think it's really important that a manager is involved on match days. I like the fact he's up there on the touchline. No histrionics but watching everything that's happening and taking swift action. No longer hanging on until the 75th minute and not quite being sure who to substitute. 'No, not Pav', will haunt me for a long time.

If we can’t support this one we may as well accept we’re never going to support anyone and just give up.

Of course we will. We are QPR.

The torches and pitch forks are at the ready.

I like the cut of MW's jib. Hopefully he stays around for a while and gives us the structure and forward planning we have been missing for the last decade (or more!)

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

Well as most know I hated McClown But we did have a bit of a winning run and some on here going over the top talking play-offs before it reverted to type.

Good start but loooong season, anyway Mid-table, I have a feeling Hugill is going to be a disappointment, should have kept long tall Smith for when you have to throw everything at it.

i like the lack of bullshit in his post match stuff so far, he's been quite critical of the bad things and praised the good stuff rather than the usual bland say nothing answers

Pushed for him first time around and pleased we eventually managed to secure his services. A good fit and is slowly bringing our identity back.

Never knowingly right.

Only thing is we haven't lost yet.

He HAS said he would admit if we were lucky but the acid test is if lose one we deserve to lose but there are one or two iffy decisions.

Most manager's default on this is to blame the ref and ignore shortcomings in the team - Dych, Mourinho, Hughes all 'masters' at that. Will be interesting to see what he says after a genuinely bad performance.

He DID criticise aspects of our game last night though tbf.

Long may it continue! In all seriousness, of course we will lose games but we can finally see green shoots of recovery both on and off the pitch.

Personally I find it regrettable that now we're having conversations about Warburton without any bread related punnery whatsoever.

Poll: Come on then, let's have it.

Agreed - it's a shame because this should be where the best posters really earn their crust.

But we have to give someone a proper chance and stick with them when the inevitble bad times do come along.

Bare bones.

My daughter don't like him ... says he looks too much like the bloke who has the minions in Despicable Me ... that's more than enough for her to be fair.

Probably because he has made sure that we don't have any loafers in our side now.

Same as. So refreshing to watch us play passing football again. We were renowned for playing such an attractive style and well done to the board for getting him in.

If it’s a beanie hat then he’s dead to me.

I was very much in favour of him before and again when the vacancy arose.
Like the cut of him.
I was sold on him when my mate reported back from the open day.

Mid table will be hugely positive for him.

We go again

Here for a good time..... not a long time

He has started very well, both before the season started with the signing and players leaving, etc, etc and I have been pleasured by our performances. I also enjoy listening to him speak and also what I read.

It is only a start though and I am very optimistic.
