Thoroughly enjoyable performance by Rangers. Looked a very good side going forward and another day could have had three or four. Totally dominated after the break and the only shot I can remember Huddersfield having was the penalty. Only whinge I have was the two free kicks. Would love to have seen Chair or Eze take them, especially with the wind behind them. Chair when he came on looked very tidy and very difficult to pick up and took players away from Eze which freed him up, Kane looked different class at full back and looks like a great bit of business. Barbet and Hall solid in the middle and happy to play the ball, Amos still looks a bit rusty to me but given time he looks like a great asset, Hugill certainly will leave everything on the pitch, BOS will get better and better. Manning now looks like a left back and a good one at that. All in all Warburton has put what looks like a side that will cause many a team some problems this season.

Considering the turnover of players and limited time they've played together, I'm very satisfied with the performances and tally of 4 points from 2 games against fancied teams. If they can keep improving as they gel, then the sky's the limit.

Never seen such a great reaction at the ground to a draw.

Can only echo op - deserved to win, but more than that, what a change to watch an enjoyable game of football.

Barbet was revelation to me, given luke warm reaction to pre season games - he was my MOTM with Cameron a very close second.

Many players had one really good half, only disappointment was Scowen - 100% effort as usual but gave the ball away quite a bit.

Referee - only seen live but I thought Bright pen shout wasn't, there's was and the tackle on Manning an 'orange' - said yellow at the ground but not going to argue with those who want red.

All their yellows fine, did our player who gave away the pen get a yellow, don't think he did - should have done.

An enjoyable game and feeling good about the season to come.

Barbet did get a yellow after giving away Pen. Agree he had a good game but was caught wrong side for the penslty.

Need to stay patient but a pleasure to see a Rangers side having control over the ball.

Thought Cameron was superb, had to cover a lot of ground today. Amos seemed nervous throughout, hopefully his confidence will improve. No surprise when Scowen got pulled.

First half everything good came through Eze, Samuel an enigma, another good performance but for some reason, just falls a little short, needs to link up more with Hugill.

Kane looks decent, felt the one thing we lacked today was full backs overlapping though that mostly down to two lively wide players who the full backs mostly kept quiet, so understandable in the circumstances.

Think Chair or Wells in Scowens position could make a difference as we will need a link closer to Hugill or goals will be hard to come by.

Yes, ‘caught’ the wrong side cos the forward was offside!

Agree on everything said. I’ll make a prediction now: Chair will be player of the season. For once we had a manager who made the right substitutions. Kane looked great going forward

Just viewed the Sky highlights and checked for a possible offside. The assistant on the SA Rd side, who I thought struggled to make decisions on too many occasions for this level, appeared in line. However, pausing at exactly the time when the ball is fligcked on, the attacker certainly looks offside from the angle of the video. Have not seen anyone else make a omment on this.

On the plus, I liked the brief amount I saw of Kane. If he can work with Chair, they could be a fun combination to watch and a pain for oppos. Looking forward to Kane becoming fit. Otherwise, quite enjoyable.

I was in line but in the Paddocks so not an ideal view. First instinct was it was offside. That linesman seemed eager to not raise his flag all day including for throw-ins.

Only watched the game via the stream and yes, Scowen seems a nice bloke and all that karaoke and caper but in the final analysis, i'd rather have my skull nailed to the mast on a deep sea fishing expedition to the flemish cap, where sex starved fisherman knock out my c unting teeth and use my soft gums as a f uck pot and loading bay for their pay load of omega-3 fatty acid harry monk , than have him in the side over the imperious ilias Chair.

Sorry josh but that's how i f ucking well see it.

The ball through to their man before he was brought down for the pen (blatant) was offside. Very unlucky to have been 1 down.

Said after the last game and I’ll say again now, Scowen isn’t good enough for this setup and least of all in the number 10 role, we’re extremely lucky none of his seemingly every-game giveaways didn’t result in a goal.

Amos looks off the pace, though he’s entitled to be after what he’s been through, and I think there’s a real player there if he can keep fit.

Kane is going to be very impressive going forward.

The two centre half’s today were outstanding, as was Manning. What a difference it makes to have a left back who only wants to look for a neat pass forwards rather than always touch it inside to go straight back.

Chair is going to be something special I think.

Eze was unplayable for the first 15, but we then isolated him on the side which was a shame. I’m really looking forward to seeing him and Chair together.

Bright was marked out the game by their left back who was fantastic. Looked much better second half after he was moved to the other side.

Hugill looks a great hold-up player which is exactly what this setup needs to feed passes to the attacking midfielders.

I’m excited about this. Not getting carried away but what a fantastic performance and some real exciting talent breaking out.

Only issue is we do look light on goals, but hopefully our midfield can plug some of the gap and contribute a lot more this season - I think they will.

Edit: forgot about Cameron, who was my man of the match. His best performance for us I think. I just hope we’ve got ready replacements for when he inevitably tires/gets injured.

No disrespect to Josh, a fine servant to the club, but Chair in comparison to Scowen is Cameo's 'Knights of the sound table' to Imaginations 'Flashback' .

Hall and Cameron were my standout players. Good team performance. We battered them the last 10 min when Wells and Chair was on. Kane looks decent as well and whipped in a cracking ball which was unlucky not to find a QPR player on the end of it.. Huddersfield just tried to break our game up at every given opportunity by feigning injury or just general time wasting. Ref was poor.
Not sure Barbet should be our freekick taker, both were poor shots.
Still early days and the team need to gel but the signs are good. I'll take 1-1.

Don't really get why Chair and Kane doing well as subs means it's time to get stuck into Scowen and Rangel. Better on the day, fine, but there'll be other different days and that's what the squad's for.

Not saying Scowen didn't test the patience - none more than Warbs' reading between the lines of his post match interview - but the way we play now we will need some ratting high up the pitch this season that's for sure.

I made that same mistake when I was a young grasshopper in this very dojo,
I was shunned by my fellow students.
The only students who talked to me were Disco Stu and Peter Parker the Spider-Boy
They are my brothers.
And we will get on it at the West Brom game...

LMAO this is replied to Boston........

Just back

Got to say we should have won, they were terrible god knows how they were premier league
The changes are so evident from last year it has to be said
Lumley looks miles better,
Hall sign him up long term he is back to his best
Manning always looking for the ball and nearly chipped their keeper with a cross
Cameron who I’m not a fan of added physical power
Eze just wanted the ball , showed good vision but he did go missing for a Burbage
Kane looks handy
Amos grew into the game when he is match fit he will be better
Hugill battled but had no support
BOS always wanted the ball some of it never came off but he never hid
The only negative was scowen he looked lost

Got to say a massive well done to Warburton he got his subs bang on , never in a million years would I bought chair on but he changed the game , Huddersfield didn’t know what to do because you had him and Eze dropping deep and they didn’t know what to do , that stretched them

Final well done to the fans a great atmosphere especially the herberts in x block

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore
