Heard about this last night, it was the third game and was 3-3 after an hour when we walked off. From both the oppo players and the sidelines apparently. Surprised it hasn’t come out sooner/club haven’t made a bigger deal of it.

The game was against Nerviron, the last of the 3 games in Seville. One of the youth players told me it was weird, surreal even.
I was impressed a 16 year old knew what surreal meant !!
If possible check out Hamzad Kargbos scissors kick goal in the first game against Cadiz.

Well I hope that Uefa or whoever conduct a thorough investigation and if the host club are directly to blame that the sanction is harsh. If it's come from the crowd more difficult to apportion blame but action still needed.

I was told it came from the pitch and the crowd.

I have to say Mr Hoos rarely disappoints when he speaks.

How some, as you say happens on social media', can even begin to criticise him is beyond belief.

The more good he/the club do the more likely, sadly, that someone will 'head hunt' him.

Well done to Paul & the players.

They have my complete support (for what that's worth!).

People should not be abused when at work or anywhere. I fully support their right to take industrial action and strike. Well done!

Absolutely the right decision by the U18s, fantastic statement by Hoos, hope the FA and UEFA back them up properly.

Also, I thought it was interesting / encouraging that the team had obviously thought about the risk of something like this happening in advance, met with Kick It Out, got the players to be aware of it and had a clear plan for how to deal with any issues. It's a small thing, maybe, but I think speaks to the care and professionalism with which our youth teams are currently being run.

Good. Fair play to them.

Is there not a rule that gives the ref the opportunity and/or duty to make this decision before a team is forced to act for themselves? Just wondering. They're surely should be.

I’d bet you’re right, I was thinking exactly the same as I read that.

You’re there thinking “fantastic those lads did the right and proper thing, good on ‘em” but then you realise it’s FIFA and UEFA; therein lies the problem.
Guaranteed we’ll get fined so great Hoos getting it out there and ensuring it’s knowled we’ve done the right thing and are guilty only of being standard bearers.

Paul Furlong continues to enhance his legend status with me, man love for that geezer!

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Baz won't like this Lol.

Whilst I fully support the walking off decision, it was taken by the club.

Correct me if I'm wrong but that is not a strike or any form of industrial action, it is employees following an instruction given by their line manager.

I thought strikes were by paid workers. Our under 18s aren't paid.

I fear they'll come after the club. Hopefully not, but sometimes they punish the victims more than the offenders. Furlong and the club should be praised but I doubt the spineless bureaucrats will back us.

Not sure how they justify this but the craziness exists. I assume Hoos was warned about this by lawyers and told that the authorities may come after him for implicitly criticising them (UEFA and FIFA). We've seen before how brazen they are about their PR cock ups.

Andalusian Football Federation has opened an investigation promising tough sanctions if racism proven whilst also pointing out the match was not sanctioned by them and therefore not refereed by one of their officials. Hmm...

I don’t know what it is but I like it.

One question though, how many were in these crowds? Surely couldn’t have been that many and should have just been a case of slinging out the easily identifiable dickheads.

Ridiculous that the Spanish club let it get that far.
