Just felt he deserved a positive thread. Two well taken goals there. Good stuff Jordan, well played. He's been immense so far. Never want to be haranguing strikers too much for a bad miss, better to dwell on the positives. Everybody can miss easy ones on occasion, especially when the ball is coming fast across your body. They look much worse than they are. Is he up to five? Blimey. To have conceded another bloody penalty but still won makes it all the sweeter. That would have rankled.

What a cracking result, well done everybody, particularly yours truly, i was excellent.

Ps Our lass walked in and laughed, then said 'is that us playing in that hideous mint green?' Then she asked why, i had no answer. Fcuk it, though, happy daze.

It's the mark of a decent team that they can go away from home and win wearing mint pyjamas.

Never knowingly right.

If they could do it in crocs, I'd be really impressed.

On the times I've seen him live, I've thought he's looked ineffective and unfit.

He's banging them in and everyone loves him. Shows how much I know. Give us hell Jordan!

I believe his current total would've made him the fifth highest scorer in our squad last season

All the more impressive that they were nylon and not a set of cosy winceyette ones. All that static flying around can't have made the task any easier.

That was a really good result. I look the cut of Hugill jib, he's a proper physical, skillful CF who's doesn't let himself get pushed about - fair play to the fella, very happy to have him aboard.

He certainly has an impressive jib and no mistake.

the trouble is he is pricing himself out of us being able to afford him next year.

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

We have no option, just have to get promoted and hang on to everybody.

It is a good sign when a perfectly respectable second kit is getting most of the flak on here.
I think we have our 2019-20 scapegoat right there people.

The grass is always greener.

Not negative per se, but when a striker misses a sitter like that, people always mention it a lot like it's incredible. It's just a sh!t touch, anywhere else on the pitch it doesn't get noticed really. And those ones flying perpendicular to the player...basic trigonometry tells us it's the smallest angle with the lowest margin of error, significantly easier to miss than people realise. It's testament to the skill of these guys that they hardly ever miss those ones. If ever you get made to look a tit, it's by one of those. Even i missed one once, still gutted about it.

No need to be touchy, i just had a burst of pride after watching him put the second one in again, couldn't help myself...

currently scoring a goal every 93 minutes, the best goals/game ratio in the championship of the people who have scored 5...

Can we not knock it?

Not sure how we managed to get him over to west London, the West Ham I've spoken to all seem to rate the bloke.

I had forgotten all about THAT miss as most have as he then scored shortly after. I suggest you erase it from your memory as well. 5 in 6 games is a great return at any level.

We have to hope spam are going well and have no thoughts or need to recall him in January.

No recall option according to a local journalist.

Been clarified below, but most year long loans are run effectively like one year transfers - bigger clubs use them as a revenue stream and it's hard to ask for cash if you're going to snatch it back if the player does well

I can't find any clarification of the ruling if it's allowed but might it not be more of a worry that if he keeps his form up and is in double figures by January that one of the promotion front runners might make an offer to West Ham to buy him permanently?

I'd presume they'd want in the region of £8-10m for him which is obviously out of our range but wouldn't be for one of the front runners especially someone like West Brom that have parachute payments.

That would really expose FFP for what it is. I suggest £8-10M would not be out of our range without the restraints of FFP
