Sit the team down in front of the TV
Watch what WBA did to us
Learn
Do that!

Very similar style of play from Billics. More intensity, more first balls won, more players pressing and swarming, better decisions.

MW and staff could do a lot worse than to sit the players down, watch that game back and simply say, 'you see what they did to us? That's what we need to aspire to.'

I genuinely think we can come out of yesterday's game and learn a lot to become a better team.

Never knowingly right.

I'm pretty sure they watch back every match.

IS the correct answer.

At Harlington there is a tv suite with about 30 seats, like a mini cinema, where every detail of every game is analysed to the nth degree.

Seeing some of the feckup 's/mistakes by other keepers over the weekend some are being far too harsh on our own keeper.

I don't think WBA were that good, I think we were just very poor.

That Huddersfield keeper had a touch of the rob greens about him

I agree with this. We won't play that bad again. It's impossible to.

Lumley kept the score respectable, give him some credit FFS.

11 games played and 19 goals conceded and not one clean sheet, its kind of glaringly obvious what needs addressing first and foremost.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

We played a similar style as WBA during our brief golden patch under McClaren. It's simple football done well, MW is right we showed them too much respect. I think we'll play better against Blackburn.

That.
I think we were nervous and indecisive too, giving WBA too much respect. Not sure what happened to Chair and Eze today either as little went right for them.

I think we will learn from this game and improve.

Looking in from afar, I’m pretty sure we’ve improved by the shed load since last season!

Interestingly, Bilic said the opposite, post-match - i.e. we weren't bad, but they were very, very good. I'll stick my neck out and say I think it may have been both - or neither. A goalkeeper with flappy pats of butter for hands & a so-called wall that jumped like cornered rats didn't help on the day. Will be surprised if WBA don't go up auto-style, though.

They obviously watch every game back to go through what they can do better etc. I agree that under the current manager they will learn. Often you learn more when you lose than when you win.
