Jam tonight 19:07 - Nov 29 with 765 viewswessex_exile

Anyone else planning to watch the Jammers tonight? Given we have another tedious weekend off, I'm quite looking forward to it.

Growing in confidence. Hope they can keep it up in the second half!

Interesting comment was made earlier by one of the BBC Team (pre-match) that Col Utd are the “Jammers landlords”. Might suggest Cowling owns the ground and that is the link we couldn’t identify. Might explain a good deal..,,

Gutting for the Jammers. Newport did not deserve to win that but one moment changes everything. M&T should be very proud of how they played.

That Ngamvolou looks absolutely class and is the kind of midfielder we have lacked this season.

Yep - unfortunate for the Jammers, not outclassed at all, but the Exiles did have plenty of chances to win it. Just a shame their winner came too close to the end to do much about it. Entertaining game though, just hope the Newport player stretchered off is okay.

Newport also did homework on the opposition , but put pressure on themselves by not taking their early chances . Good TV cup tie .
Impressed by both managers , Flynn congrulating M&T straight after coming off the pitch with a away victory, ( McG to learn from this ) and Wayne Brown who interviewed well throughout.
M&T look well capable of promotion to Premier league, let's hope do not have to overcome any fixture congestion and play Regent next season, if Kemi can get them out of the relegation places.
What next for Wayne Brown who obviously has made a big impression ?

Reflecting on the game, the late goal papered over any criticism of Flynn for some poor tactics IMO. When Newport tried to play football in the first half they created chances. Second half Flynn decides to resort to hoofing it long, which was ineffectual and led M&T to control the game. The out of the blue goal spared many of managerial blushes for me.

Felt a bit sorry for Kazeem as he looked like a rabbit caught in headlights when he came on. Big game for a young player.
