Who would you rather keep Hugill or Wells.

Hugill. He’s younger and a better foil for our other players but his wages are well out of our league.

Hughill....slightly less clinical but proper trouble.

Yeah Jordan.

To be honest we could probably afford Jordan as she was made bankrupt last week. Back to two up front! #1970scomedy

Never knowingly right.

I'd keep Hughill but doubtful as he's worth more and not out of contract at the end of the season.

I'd like to keep both please Santa.

Wells. 62% of his shots are on target compared to 28% for Hugill.

Wells - a much better striker of the ball and his movement is also better.

Hughill is the striker we need in the champs. Although funnily enough if we were in the prem then Wells would be my choice.

Yes I know what you mean. I chose Jordan just because he allows us to play a different way. It's hard to play long with Nahki when we need to as he can't hold the ball up and doesn't provide the physicality that we're otherwise lacking in our forward line up. The Championship tends to have really tall defenders. Wells has a better shot to goal conversion though I would imagine.

If we could afford them, Hugill would just pip Wells.....age and size. But I wouldnt turn down Wells.

The reality is, that we need to sign two strikers in the summer (at least)

Oteh not setting the world alight in Bradford, can not see him making it.
Walker - no idea what that was all about?

And thats about it isnt it?

You must be joking. The pass that played Assombolonga in for ' Boro's goal was inch perfect!

Oteh still young, looked good in the cup against Leeds last January. Bring him back, play him against Swansea and then decide where he spends the rest of the season.

I like Hugill but I am amazed at how much he was sold for. There must be cheaper six foot target men available. Hugill is a more mobile Matt Smith, albeit I think Smith has more ability in the penalty area.

If we can get an out of contract Wells, on wages within our budget, then great but we need a big man as well.

I'd take Nakhi Wells. Not sure where this "can't hold the ball up comes from". He doesn't have the back to goal game that Hugill does, evidenced so well against Preston, but his movement into the channels and touch is streets ahead. This allows the ball to stick better when it's played on the floor, and also better suits a the cute interplay with Eze, Chair, Amos etc.

Hugill is a different beast altogether, I'm a fan, but I'd take Wells in a Warburton team. Although we started going more direct against Preston, I imagine that is a stop gap until we bring in the right CB/CM to return to the neat passing football that Warburton really aspires to play.

Honestly, Oteh not doing it at Bradford. The odd glimpse but thats it (Bradford ST holder). So thats two lower league clubs he has not done anything special. The you look at Eze and Chair who did really well on their loans.

Sidestepping the question with some other questions...

Which Nakhi Wells are we talking about? The one we've got this season or the one who stopped scoring last season when his confidence collapsed?

Which Jordan Hugill are we talking about? The one we've got this season or the one who only scored 6 goals for Middlesbrough last season?

Are they perhaps an item that just can't be considered separately?

Difficult to be critical after a solid away win but towards the end of the match what was Hugill thinking when he decided to shoot instead of playing in one of two open players?
