Me too. The midfield was missing in November but tonight he was different gravy.

Thought he worked really hard today and closed down very quickly.

Worked his socks off and that's all you can ask for.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Cameron had a great game, kept it simple, effective, classy. Grant Hall close to being back to his imperious best, a proper captain's performance. Excellent all round team effort.

Ok.

I think he's painfully limited, passes the ball backwards all the time.

We are crying out for a ball playing centre mid

He was better than he has been.

As noted he had the comfort blanket of GC with him

First half we looked a bit ragged but most of that was down to Pugh who I thought was as poor tonight as he was good on Saturday. Very weak as well as rusty... perhaps he does need a run of games

Back to Amos.... needs to do a bit more but fair price lay second half

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Grant Hall, MOTM, defended for his life, scored a goal. Just great to see. Amos, receives the ball does his little step over routine passes backwards, all of the time....

Westbourne, is this just another of your motivational speeches? It's worked with Pugh.

Painfully limited? I'm not saying he's been great for us this season (I'd give him a C overall), but ability wise he is far from that. Also, his passing v Fulham, for instance, was thoughtful and constantly forward and to the wings - at least 4 very smart balls out between defenders that i can remember.

I don't think we're 'crying out' for anything particularly, are we? We'd all like a GK, CB and maybe a CM. But hardly 'crying out'.

Bare bones.

As I said on here after the Derby game, you can see that Amos is a quality player with potential. He's inexperienced obviously, which is one of the reasons we have him on loan, and he's also had some major injury issues, but if he gets the regular games he needs I think you will see him become a very useful player.

A lot of good comments on this thread. Amos has "potential" and that is the key word here; he hasn't shown it yet since he's been with us, but there is SOMETHING there. He looked better last night, but generally played the safe (backwards or sideways) ball - little risk taking there.

Also, everyone looks better around Cameron when he is in control as much as he was last night.

Hoping Amos will kick on; he's not "great" yet, but certainly could get there...

Can we go out yet?

I'm confused now. Is Amos a scapegoat or not? And if not, then who is?

It is difficult. Cameron is this season's Scowen, Scowen is this season's Karl Henry, so Amos has to be Luongo. At least I think that's how it works.

And Mlakaar is this season's Priskin.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

The guy has promise. Potential to grow no doubt - give the boy a chance - he is improving and does show potential to be quite a classy skilful type and I feel he could be an important cog in the wheel
