Ya, wouldn't argue with that.

He did well but thought BFG better

I also give huge credit to Cameron, thought he was superb in that anchor role this evening. You could see him laying it off to Manning and Kane but then dictating to them where to move the ball onto. Used his experience fantastically this evening

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

Thought Grant Hall was the stand out performer tonight, defended for his life, scored a goal, what's not to admire? MOTM 9/10 all night long..

Yep I thought he edged BFG who, though solid defensively, was occasionally sloppy in possession and overhit a few passes. Grant, by contrast, gave a Rolls Royce performance.

I don't think I've seen Hall as good as was tonight.
Train wifi is good enough to download the pics as well so gimme ten...

Always a real pleasure to see Grant Hall score with all of the trials and tribulations he's been through. He feels like one of our own.

We finally seem to have goals all over the team if i may say so. For ages, it's been only Luke or Charlie likely to score, now we have a veritable plethora of options, which makes a pleasant change/surprise.

Cameron is a little bit of an unsung hero. Is it just coincidence that the defence play better and we have two clean sheets now that he is fit again.

He's got the odd deft ball in him that can open up a side completely as well. I'm a big fan of him. He needs a disciplined player alongside him, and I thought him and Amos made a good pairing today which hasn't always been the case, but I think in turn was due to Amos being a lot more disciplined in his positioning.

The two centre backs were outstanding, so good to see compared to where we have been. First half Hall was unbelievably good.

If not actually disgruntled, he was far from being gruntled. PG Wodehouse

Bloke has been through a lot injury wise, good to see him doing well long may it continue.

Amos looks good technically but maybe still a bit overawed by the pace and physicality of Championship football. Hopefully he'll improve with more starts. Same for Kane who is struggling for consistency.

And Hugill should have passed to Amos late on, rather than take the shot which he dragged well wide!

Interesting little nugget from the commentary on a dodgy stream of the game last night. Grant Hall was playing for Birmingham when they lost 0-8 to Bournemouth a few years ago. Scorer of a hat-trick for Bournemouth that day? Marc Pugh.

Absolutely superb.

Thought Amis and Cameron were so good. They just couldn't get any build up of possession around our area which has been a struggle. Amos is so quick over 5 yards - which complements Cameron who is many things but not spritely!

Defensive effort was superb today and so refreshing. Am still underwhelmed by Pugh - just seems his legs are gone. Reminds me of Park- still has the brain but cant do what he used to.

Well played Grant - some great last ditch defending - good awareness for the goal.

I like him - hope though he stays injury free - hope he is not one of those players that picks up injuries too easily and gets a long run in the team

When playing well both BFG and Hall seem a balanced combination - ie add different things to a defence but both solid when all is well

Hope this stays the same
