We're all mostly having a dig but if it inspires people to get out there and put an X on the paper it's not a bad thing.

Well, it hasn't stopped raining all day here so I've not voted yet. If it does stop raining, I will go and spoil my vote.

4 Candidate Parties - Conservative, Green, Labour, Liberal.

Just got to find the right words to put on my voting slip for each of them now.

I was impressed with Mr Johnson's last minute plea to the electorate - “ get out there and vote for me, you stupid b'stards”.

You had a point ?? What was that then ??? I must have missed that when you were being patronising
Sounds to me like your the bitter one , never mind school finishes in 5 minutes

The point was that this thread was to discuss politics. But there's always some numpty that comes along and gets all passive-aggressive about one side.

I called you out on it, you replied like a numpty.

Thought I'd test the theory that you're the type that says what he wants but will react like a numpty if someone did the same to you. Lo and behold, straight in with 'c***'. That sounds like a sad bitter man to me, I could be wrong but you tell me.

I think stupid b'stards are the one group of people he can rely on for support. Was he speaking from inside his fridge?

Proxy voting from Canada. Ebere Eze isn't on the ballot paper, so I've voted Green.

Not Rob Green, I hope?
He'd be no good with floating voters.

Twitter reporting that Johnson could be in trouble in Uxbridge & South Ruislip with the Lib Dem vote collapsing as people vote tactically. Please god, make this the Portillo moment of this election.

Voted this morning at 8am, wearing my R’s track top on my way to the gym. A young couple were walking out as I walked in, the young man was wearing his R’s rain coat. Must be the only polling station that UUUUUUURRRRRRRR’sss! could be heard in.

Rain finally eased off and I got to the polling station. Had a nice rant on the voting slip regarding all of the parties. Could have done with more room to write 'None of the above' and put my cross at the bottom of the paper. Never mind, feel a lot happier now I've spoilt my vote.

A safe seat MP would stand down, a by election would be run, with Boris as the tory candidate.

Meaningless.

No-one will read it, all you'll do is give the ballot counters a brief laugh.

I work in education. Remember when we used to have Christmas drives to get food and presents for countries with little to no GDP. Now it's food bank drives to get food to kids in our own wealthy country...

Am admittedly a paid up member of the Labour party but a vote to keep this current situation going is beyond my understanding.

Funny how I never see you pop up on any football threads or any other threads other than politics
Your another who likes to stir it up on here and then go crying off once you get a bit back
As for your theory’s I couldn’t give a rats but if it gives you a warm glowin your y fronts then I’m happy you were so right about me

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Any idea why this has happened in such a relatively short space of time ?

I keep hearing and reading that there are 4 million children living in poverty in this country, what is the baseline to be considered living in poverty ?

The first UK food bank opened in 1997 when Tony Blair was in charge. They've exploded in number since then and I suspect it is connected to the same explosion in zero hours contracts which started at around the same time.
