There was an arrogance about us which wasn’t warranted and I didn’t like. The formation and insistence on playing out from the back in December in the arse end of Yorkshire was at best naive and at worst deluded as to our ability and theirs. I can’t recall many games where we won so few second balls. It really was the stereotypical soft southerners getting outfought on a windy day up norf.
The few times the ball was knocked in behind it caused problems for them. Hugill did brilliantly for the first in one of these rare first half forays across the halfway line. Amos took the second very well. Bright, who was bloody awful after the brilliance of Wednesday, fluffed a sitter as did Eze. We hit the bar. It could have been any scoreline as they were a bit of a shambles too defensively but that was just shocking from the management and players IMO. Obviously worth cutting them some slack as we’re well placed with winnable games to come. | | | |

It wasn’t same old qpr though, had as many shots as them, nearly identical possession, theirs hit the back of our net Reid empire than ours hit them, we are entertaining despite the result, that is definitely not same old qpr as in recent seasons the first goal would have seen us roll over and concede five without reply. on the plus side we got 3 goals scored by 2 midfielders, the third following more great work by BOS and cousl easily have won the game 6-5
If we had Won against Preston and drew at birmingham and today people would have been relatively happy and we would have gained 5 points, instead we have 6 points from those games and some people are losing their shit

I don’t understand why we changed defence, formation and strategy.
With Wallace in the team we have lost 4 and drawn 1 out of 5 and conceded 15 goals
I hope we revert to the defence who had 2 clean sheets for Charlton game unless Barbet available.
I hope we revert to getting the ball out of danger and up the other end of the pitch asap including playing BOS where he has been so effective for us.
This was a lost opportunity.
