Give him a 10 Clive 16:38 - Jan 5 with 4885 viewsDWQPR

Ilias Chair. I’ve been watching Rangers since 1972 on a regular basis and this will say, despite the opposition, because you cannot choose the opposition that was the most complete individual performance I have seen from a QPR player. He was absolutely untouchable, popping up all over the place. Swansea just did not know how to play him and nobody got near him except for Gat anti-footballing number six who decided that the only option was to hack him down from behind after he had beaten four players leaving them trailing In his wake.

I enjoyed this game more than the Cardiff game, partly because it was with a lot ke second string players but also because it showed that if we did lose Eze then we can more than cope. Would just love to see Eze, Chair and Samuel together for at least the rest of the season. In those three I reckon we have the best three outstanding talents in the championship.

Let's hope no one else is noticing. Give him a five 🙄

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

There's a small part of me that thinks Eze-Chair-Bos could become unplayable and push us into the play-offs...or it could end up like the Taarabt-Buzsaky-Routledge trio whereby Warburton ends up picking up then headbutting Chair.

Poll: Who’s better?

I’ll whisper this quietly but does anyone else think that Chair might end up the better player between him and Eze?

He’s such a tidy little footballer. Rarely gives the ball away. Starting to show real glimpses of quality.

Probably too early to say but I feel like Chair’s got to grips with the Championship within a few months which surely bodes well for his development.

This might sound far fetched but he is actually starting to remind me of another footballer who might lack a bit of stature but has an abundance of energy and great vision and skill. If Chair could be 10% of this player then we have a heck of a prospect on our hands.

Again, massive credit to MW. Compare his handling of Chair to McLaren’s of Eze last season.

I think in 12 months time Chair will be linked with serious big money moves

Love watching Chair. That loan out really has helped him to develop. Question, if BOS is potentially the new Les, who's Ilias reminding people of?

My only regret in all this talk of Chair and Eze is that we let Chay Tilt go after the training ground incident; I was just waiting for him to make his 1st team debut before getting a replica shirt with Eze-Tilt-Chair printed on the back.

The grass is always greener.

Chair the best player on the pitch today by far

i echo the sentiments about chair potentially being a better player than eze.... he literally can play anywhere from deep midfield to off the striker... hes constantly making runs, playing pass and move one touch football, challenging for headers and second balls... there is not a single job on the pitch that he does not do, and you cannot go more than 90 seconds without him making a touch or doing something

unfortunately for chair, he does have some physical limitations which may prevent him from getting to the level of eze...but to me, this kid is an absolute genius and a gem of a player

There is a bit of me that thinks when Eze inevitably leaves for a decent fee, Chair will thrive in the ability to be the ‘number 10’.

I’ve been saying this for a while, but a midfield with Chair, BOS and Shodipo could be exciting. Maybe Amos will come as a big art of an Eze deal.

Nah mate, he's a strong little lad - very rare he loses the ball but when he does he's doing 1 thing and it's an absolute shìtcùntburner of an effort - he'll score goal of the season from 30yrds.

he does look very messi-like when running with the ball, low centre of gravity,a nd knows how to use his stature to get himself under the defending player.. great to watch, really think he is going to be some player.. exciting times (if we can hold on to him for a while yet)

He's a different type of player from Eze. The latter has enormous skill and specific physical abilities, mobility particularly. BOS has speed and strength, and is still learning how to integrate them fully into his game. Chair differs because he possesses genuine footballing vision. He can read a game like a book, that's why he's a genuine number 10, and potentially a very good, even great, one. He's by no means the finished article but is learning fast. He's come on in leaps and bounds since August, and barring injury will continue to do so. I really hope he stays for another season, imagining how good he'll be by then is mouth watering.

I'm not concerned with who will end up as the better player.

I'm just so pleased that two talents like Chair & Eze play for Queens park Rangers!

Chair was sensational but he wasn't alone, I thought Ball and Scowen were both superb, Bright is unplayable at the moment also Shodipo when he came on was pretty impressive as well
2
Give him a 10 Clive on 10:24 - Jan 6 with 2044 viewsJeff

whole 'point' of Chair is to answer the question 'who will replace Eze in the summer?'

We blooded Eze in the season we had peak Freeman, and and we're now blooding Chair in the season we've got peak Eze.

the real quiz is who replaces Chair for the 21/22 season? - sort it out Les!

Can we not knock it?

To be fair Tilt did not progress in his last season. He went from a main player that provided goals on a regular basis with his crossing to a bit part player who suddenly lost his pace. It was no surprise to the regulars at Harlington when he was released. He was possibly let go as the club had a ready made replacement in some lad who made his debut yesterday. But I'm guessing.

Agreed, pretty much the whole team gave at least 8/10 performances yesterday (perhaps bar Kane who was great going forward but not so strong at the back). Felt that Scowen, Ball, Pugh, Wallace and Hugill were just as good as Chair, Scowen shaded MOTM for me.
