Depends on the club’s situation surely. 9 points at the time wasn’t much of a punishment for Birmingham at all for that season. Nine for Derby now at least puts them in a real scrap. | | | |

Birmingham have breached again so possibly more points deducted for them. Problem was discussed on Radio 5 recently and the major issue is that the EFL are themselves in all sorts of problems and it is like a trade organisation trying to enforce the rules. SWFC are banged to rights but are just hanging it out with lawyers till the timing is right for them. |  |

However if this was, shall we say one of the “lesser” clubs you can bet your arse the sledgehammer would be out. You’d imagine they’d be looking to crucify Lootown (again) or give Wigan or us a roasting.
