He left after we stood by him through his injuries (which is annoying) but, we were looking to offload contracts, so that may not have been his choice. Anyhow, I liked him as a player and will continue to remember him as a good player for us. |  |

I'm just p*ssed off with him about his lack of graciousness when he played in his first match at the City Ground against us after he left. He talked about blowing us out of the water, which I thought was unnecessary, given the fact we'd all been supportive of him. I don't care about players leaving: they have a living to make and we often see the fans turning on players who aren't performing. But at least show a bit of respect to those who cheered you every week. He also didn't respond well to the mild stick he got from us back by being petulant, getting in the referee's ear and doing at least one shocking tackle that probably should have been red carded in the return fixture at LR. | | | |
