It just doesn't seem right to have half the team ripped out smack bang in the middle of the season like this. I was enjoying myself, Nahki leading from the front, now all of a sudden boom. Bollox.

That said, 15 million is a lot of cash, i'd probably still be looking at that as a success for us. It's losing people like Smithies and Jack Robinson for next to nothing that's irked me more. 15 million large...we could fix the toilets for that sort of money.

I would have thought we should try and keep our best players (assets), get rid of the dross and continually improve

The 5 players that we moved on we can live without (although we will miss the heart and intent of BFG and Scowen and Wells generally) Actually I will miss Wells very much.
Our squad looks quite light on if we have injuries unless the under 23's are good enough to step up (here's hoping)

If we are serious about trying to maximise our potential and at some stage go for promotion / top 6 finish then we need to keep

To improve and get a top 6 finish and/or promotion we need to improve who we have in our team in the following positions
Keeper
Right Back
1 x centre half
1 x left back
2 x central midfielders (1 on loan = a pass in Amos)
2 x goalscorers (1 on loan = a pass in Hugill and obviously Wells was a pass too)

I thought we were getting close to getting the team sorted - attacking wise going well just needed central midfield and defence fixed. I expect Masterson will be good enough for a promotion pushing team.

I just don't know whether the heart of the board is still in this "project"

On that last sentence, I’m pretty sure they want QPR to do well because everyone has an ego don’t they?

But ultimately the real reason they are involved with QPR is the asset value of Loftus Rd. Of that I am 100% sure because you can’t change the nature of venture capitalists and property developers which is who our board are made up of.

Perfect move for Eze. I think he'll do well there. £15m seems light though, but then when you look at the Dutch lad Spurs have just signed, maybe it's about right. I'd be happy with £17m.

This is why it bugs me when I hear Warburton talking about us being a work in progress. If we were we'd be building on what we had, but we're not. We're just continually plugging gaps with average players.

Eze has been a joy to watch over the last couple of seasons. If we get around £15m to £20m that will be a good return. Don't want to see him go, but Palace would be a good fit for him. One of the best players we have had in last 30 years.

Yeah. Said a few weeks ago it was no surprise your Aarons, Websters, McBurnies, Maupays were more expensive/in demand compared to Eze and got flak for it.
