Hoos, Ferdinand, Warburton talk January 14:06 - Feb 13 with 6777 viewsNorthernr

25 min video on the offish. Only just watching it now so not sure whether they resort to getting the finger puppets out. The twitter reaction so far has been a mixture of "fck off" and "awful body language" so that's worked then.

interesting.......what is for sure is that the club will not go down the spending road, like we have done over the past 5 years or so, whilst they are in charge.

TBH - you could say we're signing DeBruyne, building a new stadium and training ground and paying everyone £500 each to turn up next season and you would still get negative reaction on 'social media'

Wasn't it you who highlighted some numpty complaining about the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium signage on twitter.?

Thank God I'm an old(ish) dinosaur who doesn't go on there!

They look like Albert Speer, Hermann Goering and Rudolf Hess in the dock at Nuremberg 1946.

doesn't matter how many times they say the same thing some people just don't want to listen. the reaction on twitter tells you that with some people clearly not watching the interview judging by questions they are asking

You can add Facebook comments to the list of stupid responses to everything the club puts out!

There's an old Mod Saying from Pete Meaden...

'Clean Living under difficult circumstances'.

Ferdinand, Hoos and Warburton are trying to do that with QPR.

just watched it, I dont know what else people want them to say about the finances and transfers etc. this is where we are and they were honest about the situation.

I think they could have tried a smile, Les nearly managed one. Lee could have been a bit more upbeat perhaps but theres no point putting on your dancing shoes if your not allowed to dance.

Would have liked an update on Warren Farm, some good news as a counterpoint but i guess there isnt anything good to say about that

Think the weary look is coming from "how many more times do we have to explain this?"

Yeah, and if they were smiling or laughing they'd be accused of not taking the situation seriously/taking the piss out of the club/treating fans like mugs etc.

Poll: QPR to finish 7th or Brentford to drop out of the top 6?

Think how much worse it would have got for Speer, Goering and Hess if they had to read twitter responses as well. Life imprisonment would be a doddle.

I like Hoos obvious invitation to the EFL to look at the FFP of certain other clubs in the Championship- there are other clubs that are having issues. Go on, look at Derby, or maybe Swansea, or perhaps Birmingham, dock them some more points - nothing to see here at KPFS. We're squeaky clean m'lord.

I agree - they can't win. People on here were saying that club should 'explain' the 'plan' after Jan.

However, when club 'explain' anything, the reaction is generally negative.

If we are getting a 20k a week defender off the wage bill and a midfielder who is possibly on 10k a week then that’s what we’ve got to do , that makes sense, my only gripe would be is we bought in Leinster , Luango , Bidwell , Scowen , Hall to sell on but all have left or will leave on a free
And we haven’t made much on them
I’m more interested in what happens in the summer TBH are we gonna invest in players to sell eventually on or are we doing the loan thing again

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

Middle finger puppets.

I came away from watching it thinking thank f*ck these three are at our club and that we aren't being run day to day by lunatics who see the future of the club as total financial ruin and a new Tesco in South Africa Road as the only tilt of the hat to us existing..... (Ughhh.. Tesco logo... keep up!)

Have I missed something? Were they meant to do their hair, sing popular hits Peters and Lee style and do a dance routine? (obviously with a guide dog if it was Peters and Lee)

I really despair of so much of our fanbase. Why aren't we spending £200m on a striker, building a new stadium on the moon and winning galactic wars?

BECAUSE WE'RE F*CKING BROKE. Thank f*ck for these three on camera today! Let's just back the f*ck off and let them get on with it.

Never knowingly right.

Were not all of those players, apart from Luongo, free signings? Isn't this why they were some of our higher paid players?

Bidwell, & probably Hall, have/will leave us on the same basis, but I think Luongo & Scowen were sold at a profit. As will Leistner (provided he is not out of contract this summer).

Dont forget Spurs had a sell on clause with Swindon on Luongo. When we bought him it was at the same time that we bought Gladwin - a useful league 1 player with obvious potential to play at roughly the same level at league 1 for the rest of his career. Luongo cost a few hundred thousand, whilst Gladwin cost a few Mill.

Spurs don't always get the best deals out of us.....

Never knowingly understood

I liked the old day's you know bucket collections/power getting cut off that sort of thing.
Them day's we had less money than we haven't got now.
I dunno, it's just a game of football or used to be.

Bidwell cost over a million iirc.

Looking back at that summer of 2016 when we bought Bidwell, Borysiuk, Cousins, Lynch, Yeni, Sylla is frustrating. The last window where we had a fair bit of money to spend and we made a loss on all of them and got little back in quality of performances.

Feel like our current state is as much a result of our poor business post relegation as pre.

Bidwell’s wages were big (we still pay too much) but he was a free transfer I thought?

I'm with them all the way. I understand FFP. But if we sack off the cups again next season watch out.
