Not in my mind...he’d do so now.

Surely he’s better than Raheem Sterling. He’s got the lot - vision, scores with head and either foot and has that uncanny and rare ability to glide past players.

How comes a PL team never bought him in January?

I hope he never goes.

The concern for me is that Prem team buy him and put him on the bench or loan him out ..

The Premier League is a massive step up. A big part of why he’s flourished this year is the style of football we’re playing. I think he has to be very careful about which club he goes to. It could make or break him imo.

We’ll see soon enough I guess

Everybody went on about Freeman and playing in the Premiership, our best player, apparently, last season-cant get a game for Sheffield, started less than 5 games I would think.

We are now going a bit overboard about Eze, well decent player- agreed, premiership material-agreed, can potentially get better-agreed. But the Premiership is a different level and in the position he plays makes it more difficult- ask Freeman!!

In saying that I am sure a Premiership side would 'take a chance' and I believe that he has a 'chance' to make it but it isn't as clear cut as many believe.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him sold at a lower value than people are expecting, but tied up in a loan-back.

Lets hope it's a really big club that does buy him and they loan him back to us for a year.

I don't think he is quite ready yet, shooting, free kicks and corners all need to be more consistent. He has been great but still learning and improving as seen yesterday (on the highlights).

Would the Premier be the right league for him?

I would have thought that a move to Germany or a top French club would be better for his career development.

Not that I want him to leave, but realistically he will need to for the club & himself.

In my view, he has already passed Stainrod, Byrne & Wegerle in our list of mavericks. Also Currie as Tony played his best football before joining us. Adel is next on the list for him!

I'm not sure that you can compare Eze and Freeman. Freeman was an excellent Championship player and did a fantastic job for us. But he had some technical issues that were always going to make it harder for him in the Premiership. Firstly, he hasn't got the pace that Eze has. He was able to befuddle defenders but he didn't ghost past two or three like Eze does. He was also much more one footed than Eze, which makes it easier to defend against. Eze is also much more unpredictable to play against than Freeman. And finally, Eze is only 21 and there's a lot more to come from him. I suspect Freeman was bought as a back up player rather than a first teamer and they've done so well this season they haven't needed him.

It's not just us that are talking about Eze, it's other fans and commentators too.

I was walking back to my car after the game yesterday talking to a Preston fan who said he though Eze was a very special player - he said he was the best player he had seen at Preston for years.

We both agreed that he would be playing in the Premier League next season

Agree with this.

He also needs a club where the culture is consistent and not dependent on a manager who might be gone within a year.

If a transfer deal is the best option for QPR (financially) and Eze (career development) that's great and everyone's a winner.

I don't want to sound like a prìck here because he seems like a lovely lad but if what's best for QPR is him sitting in the spurs reserves while the special one jizzes Levy's cash on the hottest new furriner, so be it.

Grove,

You're right, of course - excellent point - the club has to take the best offer for us. It's up to Eze after that.

I hope the two aspects align, I suppose.

I agree, Brian. I'd like to see him actually play. But I back him to make it if they give him enough of a chance.

I think you might be selling Sterling a bit short there Hooparoo,he is a world class player playing at the top level and one of the first names on the English team sheet .Not only can he score but his work rate and desire is beyond question IMO .
Eze has all the qualities that's required but he is dominating a level below the big boys at the moment .Why was he not taken in January if there is unlimited money available in the PL or are teams waiting for the summer madness to begin.

I agree. There are certainly parallels, but Sterling is the finished article and has been coached by some of the best in the world at amazing facilities and been tested and proven at the very top level of club and international football. Eze has played average second tier games, coached by very good second tier coaches on a rented training ground. He is currently a squad player in the under 21 team. He is good and developing incredibly well in the circumstances, but to get to the next level he probably needs a little more speed (he isn’t slow, but Players like Sterling tend to lightning quick ).

Don’t get me wrong he is the best player I’ve seen since Taraabt, but Adel found the Prem a step up.

Never knowingly understood

Lazy eze on 16:24 - Mar 8 with 2529 viewsnix

The thing about Adel is though he wasn't prepared to listen or put in the hard yards. Eze works hard and wants to learn. Think how he's already improved this season.

Also he might look better in a better team where they can't double mark him all the time. I'd love to see it.

To be fair look at how Sheffield united are doing. Not as if he can't get a game for Norwich
