How willing are you to part with your cash? 09:02 - Mar 13 with 4042 viewsozranger

If the season gets cancelled or the games are played behind closed doors..

If that was to happen then I believe you would be in your right to request some compensation for your season ticket. The club may offer free access to the QPR Pass but that is a small amount compared to what we all fork out for tickets.

So, I thought I'd ask: would you be willing to "donate" the remainder of the cost of the season ticket to the club to assist with the cost of running the club during this time?

On a side note, does the club make a profit on selling programmes - advertisements, sales, etc and what would happen there? One would assume that with empty stadiums there would not be a need for programmes. I, like some others, get my home programmes delivered through programmemaster and I wonder what would happen there.

Only three games left after tomorrow, so if they gave me free video access to all (home and away) fixtures, I would be satisfied. My money has already been spent so I won't miss it. I appreciate others finances may be different.

Club still has to pay the players and staff and we all know how tight the finances are. They will lose income anyway but hopefully not too much.

I have been thinking the same.

This is a time for people to be pragmatic and I would be happy as long as I was allowed to watch the games on the internet, that would be fair.

Someone asked me how I would feel if I lost money on my family holiday in the summer. Pure and simple the money has been spend, I am not losing the money I am losing a holiday. Same for football, I am not losing the money I am losing an afternoon with my mates and watching a football game.

We call ourselves supporters well lets support the club instead of moaning. Our owners will have huge issues in their businesses to deal with (airline and Steel!) and therefore we can all live with not having a few quid that we would have spent anyway.

I wouldn't expect a refund. I pay my ST money in the spring and that pays for my season irrespective of the amount of games I get to.

I would forfeit without a second thought.

This is a one off and unprecedented.

If games are to be played behind closed doors we should be able to watch for free on QPR Pass.

Assuming Saturday still goes ahead it's only three homes games, I wouldn't hassle the club for a refund, it's not their fault plus I got a free home shirt thanks to the QPR cash.

If Charlton is played behind closed doors will we get a refund for those tickets?

It will be hard enough for the club financially, I for one will not ask for any money back

Poll: Of the 3 linked away, who do you think will still be a QPR player come February?

...and didn't the government's chief medical officer say yesterday
that the apex of the disease would be in 4/5 weeks time?
I.E. After April 4th.

I paid £33 for a NU Block ticket yesterday to scotch Heather in the Box Office.

How's that for timing?

and then there's the £40 boxing at York Hall ticket.

Good job us Poms are the greatest whingers in the world.

not quite - 10 to 14 weeks - but in the first week of April we'll still be on an upward curve so it'll be very difficult, unless things change dramatically for the better, to just start everything back up again in early April

I now have a lobby to paint and shelves to put up.

Moan x 10.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

I’ve got so much personal admin, decorating and such crap to sort out. But I’ve booked my holiday time for the year and have none left. If only there was a way to blag a couple of weeks off work without the boss getting hacked off 🤔

This. Allowing streams should be done at the EFL's cost, not the club's.

Why should the EFL be responsible? Not their fault there's a pandemic.

Because they can afford it and most of League One and Two can't. Not the clubs' fault either, but they would have to go without vital gate money if games are played behind closed doors.

The money spent for these last games was spent a long while back. I'd not be too despondent at the thought of leaving it in the "pot" for now. Free cup game admission for 2019-2020 season ticket holders next season would maybe be the best way to handle it.

Another option is to rebate as QPR cash so the money doesn't actually leave the club and we have to spend on merchandise.

The club should refund season tickets for any games missed surely. The operating costs on match day won’t be there. While players will still be getting tens of thousands of pounds a week I dont think it’s unreasonable to expect/want a refund ?

The club may well offer to refund money eventually. I as previous posters have indicated would not want my money refunded if it helps the club

IF we don't play the last four home games I will save over £200!

That is the cost of my travel & visit to the pub, so I don't think I will be demanding any repayment from the club!

The clubs official view. https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/fixtures-postponed-ticketing-retail-update/

I would imagine that hard up clubs could claim that this virus is a force majeure and wouldn't be compelled to refund any money.

The grass is always greener.
