Holding on to BT Sports 10:19 - Mar 18 with 1449 viewsozranger

In relation to the other thread about cancelling SkySports, I'm holding on to BT Sports. There is football on there each weekend for the next few months, though the quality is no where near that of the Championship. It is, however, some sort of fix.

That is the Australian A-League have chosen to complete their season all behind closed doors and BT show their games live. Of the 11 teams, two will be missing for the next couple of weeks, in self-isolation those being Wellington and Melbourne Victory. This weekend sees the Sydney derby.

I've got this but not Sky. They seem to have the ITV archive of past football.

Today I watched various (English league and cup) goals compilations from the 80's followed by Pep's Barcelona gubbing ManU in the 2011 CL final.

It was like watching two completely different sports.

I've had issues with BT for over a month now on their Broadband, so I've cancelled everything inc BT sport as they didn't resolve it in 30 days, will restart Broadband with them or someone else, and then add on Sports Channels when things start up again.

Poll: Will we stay up?

I was about to cancel Sky Sports until I saw the highlights of our playoff final vs Derby was on this afternoon.

I’ve delayed cancelling and might actually keep Sky Sports as feel like it’ll probably result in job losses if everyone cancels.

I've got BT broadband, and they give me free BT Sport for £2 a month. It used to be a fiver, but when I said I wanted to cancel it because I wasn't watching it, the price magically dropped. I watch the occasional Champions League game on it. Can't lose, for that price. I imagine they need to show a healthy tally of customers to sell the advertising.
