Before I retired I used think it would be great to sit at home all day and watch TV but I realised that daytime TV is utter crap. Now it’s all Coranavirus interspaced with utter crap.

Strong and stable my arse.

Blimey you really are old!

Daytime TV for me is hoping Holly Willoughby gets a bit cold in the studio and shows a bit of nipp.
Sod being retired if there is nothing to look forward to.

I'm in the process of finishing Day 11 of self-isolation which has meant me the wife and the two boys at home and the wife or I only going out to get food shopping.

I usually work afternoon/evening shift so this for me has been a positive as I've been able to spend quality time with the boys, helping them with their homework, playing board games and lots of table tennis and spending quality time with the wife as we sit outside on the porch every night contemplating this craziness.

I've also undertaken a huge garden project that I'm already regretting (pm me if you know how to get rid of paint from brickwork) due to its size but conversely appreciating it because it keeps me away from the internet and wife.

Whilst we all have our own personal experiences of this surreal situation I get the impression that the vast majority of us on here are taking the necessary precautions and advice on board. After that there's not much else we can do. The options appear to be spend a ridiculous amount of time reading about the situation that is effectively out of our control or spend the time doing new and/or positive things that you wouldn't normally have the time, energy or inclination to do.

I'm looking at it as trying to make the best out of a very bad situation.

We will get through this...

Peace and Love.

I've got the Power.

Don't watch the news is my recommendation if you want to stay vaguely sane.

Make sure you get out the house every day and get your dose of vitamin D.
