Nedum Onouha interviews Ebere Eze on 13:53 - May 19 with 5020 views | mcqpr10 | Brilliant listen this. Ned is a good interviewer and really presses eze on why so many clubs released him. Clearly a lot of respect between the pair and he is able to ask questions and push him on things that people who didn’t know him wouldn’t be able to. Ned shows the club a lot of respect. Was also interested to hear how highly they rated josh bowler and that he used to tear jack Robinson apart in training. Would like to see him on loan next season.
Nedum Onouha interviews Ebere Eze on 14:27 - May 19 with 4955 views | PlanetHonneywood | Ned always struck me as being innately intelligent and just the type of chap you’d want operating in the corridors of power. As for Eze, while I accept we’re a stepping stone, I hope he chooses wisely when his time comes to leave and he goes as far as he deserves in the game. Either way, Rangers can feel proud of an excellent job getting him to where he is now.

Nedum Onouha interviews Ebere Eze on 14:33 - May 19 with 4941 views | Esox_Lucius | At the time that Chief was getting pelters because he didn't shout and scream at his teammates, there were many stories about how much respect he commanded from the players and the academy prospects. He was a true club captain and was treated miserably for it, on the whole, by the fans. A story broke at the end of last week that he had paid the wages of all the employees at Real Salt Lake out of his own pocket as the owner wouldn't. You don't need to be a bully to your teammates to be a great captain, you just have to have their respect and be seen doing the best that you are able. I was sorry to see him leave, especially as he had voluntarily halved his wages, allegedly, in his previous contract renewal. A QPR legend in a different way to most.

Spot on. A better defender than he was given credit for. But a far better captain, during difficult times, than he was given credit for.
Nedum Onouha interviews Ebere Eze on 16:21 - May 19 with 4843 views | WadR | Really enjoyed that. Made me very happy to hear Onuoha say that he's QPR. I know he's a city fan but, glad that he is so fond of us despite the, unjustified, flack he got from some fans. Lots of good insight into Eze's early career, how the penny dropped re:work rate and his high praise for Ainsworth.

Spot on. The outcry when he was made captain compared to the mere raised eyebrows when Hall was given the armband (which I had little problem with either) says a lot.

Nedum Onouha interviews Ebere Eze on 18:57 - May 19 with 4691 views | enfieldargh | Superb interview, well crafted questions and no sidestepping answers. I enjoy Undr the cosh pod but my bugbear with that is always referring to past players by their nicknames, usually with a Barnsley accent so I havnt a scooby who their on about. Loved that Chief pulled him up on He as Ainsworth. Re 5 a-side team was that Jet he said? Senny Dieng DEfender I forget but think it was Ned Then he said Chairy Sure he said Jet Then he said Ilias LOve Eze, what a talent on and off the pitch. But does he know the history of the 10 shirt? I think he knows it important to QPR fans but would love him to know of the lesser 10's weve loved like Johhny Byrne, Stainrod, the Wegerle TC.

Just finished listening to this and Eze definitely knows the No. 10 is special, judging by his comments. Eze, as you'd expect, comes across as decent, humble and intelligent. Thanks for the link to the Ned podcast, Bakes. That's tomorrow sorted.

Great player for us and a quality captain. He carried some rubbish teams forward for us. I remember in a cup game we went to pens and all the players flocked around the Chief as he had the experience that none of the rest had. He leads by example and they knew he was the Chief. This was clear to all.

I could see why we looked for improvements at the position, to be honest Dave, as I thought that Ned was solid at best. The problem is that we never did find an improvement, at least to my mind.

Nedum Onouha interviews Ebere Eze on 05:09 - May 20 with 4306 views | Kiwi76 | Thanks for link & good listen. Always saw Ned as a decent bloke & player when plenty in squad were neither. Eze comes across like a great kid & hope his eventual move to big time is right one for him - want to see him have a Sterling like impact at top level.
Nedum Onouha interviews Ebere Eze on 05:21 - May 20 with 4303 views | nix | They both came across so well. Love the fact Eze was asking for Chief's advice and he was saying don't believe all that managers say when there're trying to get you to join their club (as they're saying it to five other players too). Just enjoy playing for QPR until they actually accept an offer for you. Also QPR should be everyone's second club! He still loves us...

The way he doesn't let go after a question and has no difficulty criticising Ebere makes me wonder if we couldn't persuade him to do political interviews. I appreciate that it would be no good on Trump or Alexander, if you could find him, but it was refreshing.

Nedum a great interviewer and asks all the right questions - if he ever decides his future lies in the coaching side of the game then I'd have him back in a heartbeat. I notice too one of the previous episodes is with Esteban Granero so thats on next!
