Season Ticket 22:39 - Aug 6 with 2088 viewsLblock

What’s the view?

I’m a definite renewer but who is lumping up in these uncertain times?
The lockdown coverage was a welcome relief but pretty pony across the board if I’m honest. Can’t say c£500 for a stream is value if I’m honest!!! But then seen mention of reduced capacity, no away fans, first renewers get first choice attendance

I dunno... any views?!?!?!

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I renewed via the direct debit scheme for our usual 5 tickets, but it doesn’t look like they’ll be used as much as normal. And I can’t really say at the minute that I’d even want to go the games.
But I definitely won’t be able to make midweek games due to working every night from Monday to Friday,so if that were the games that were allocated to us,they’ll be hardly used at all.

I pay around £150 a year I think for the QPR Plus membership (might be dollars I get confused). I agree £500 is steep but for those of us who live abroad, I'm delighted to pay that every year to watch (90% of) the games. Compare that to five years ago when to watch a game (legally) I had to get up at 5 in the morning and travel for an hour on the train to go to a pub which was showing one of 5 games a year.

I’m really stuck on this at the moment.
I currently have 2 seats that I do not want to lose.
At the same time though, We were a shielding household so there is no way I could contemplate train journeys or visiting the ground so need a lot more information from the club about what I am paying for before I can make a decision.
Could really do with a ‘reserve your seat for next year’ option.

I'm an over 60 so will renew but whether I actually go to games might be in question as I have vulnerable household members, really depends on what covid is doing I guess.

I would watch the live streams and know out of town Rangers fans who would pay for the stream pass. They make about 5 games a year lumping out about £200, add on travel costs and the odd beer thats around about £500 ish.

Away games are a no brainer as would watch all of them so would pay to watch them too.

captains fantastic

Something to bear in mind....

Some clubs have already said that if we have another wave and matches have to be played behind closed doors again there won't be a refund this time...

Will wait and see what club says then decide.

As for 2nd wave - if you're not going to do anything just because a 2nd wave might happen......... well you may as well just stay indoors until.... what exactly

They say there won't be a 3rd wave?
A vaccine?
They ban all motor vehicles so you don't get knocked over?

Getting to the stage, personally thinking, that if you feel this way, you may as well stop any exercise in case your heart gives out!

i was considering becoming a season ticket holder again a seat in y block would cost about £20.00 a month but with work and my family situation i would only make about 8 games a season

I'm not sure they have the legal right to make that decision unless they put it into the terms and conditions. Surely consumer protection laws state that if you buy something and the seller, for whatever reason, cannot deliver you are entitled to a refund.

Hard to see how issuing season tickets, or taking payment of them, is even an option at the moment.

Fair and sensible approach would be put the 5532 tickets up for sale on a game by game basis, 19/20 ST holders getting first dibs, maybe by ballot. Those ST holders who get a ticket miss out next game, preference given to remainder of ST holders and if any spare then dole them out to the rest of us for 2nd game. Rinse and repeat for further batches of two games.

That way all the ST holders get a look in and the rest of us get a game here and there.

I think the idea is more to try and avoid large public gatherings for a while to help prevent that second wave, if they open it all up and say go back to normal and we end up with another 60,000 dead the government will quite rightly be held responsible for that so an easing back seems the right way to go.

As for ST, I'd love to renew if the online thing worked, currently says I can't renew without my sons ticket but also says i can't renew my sons ticket for him so going to have to do it on the phone

Not according to viagogo.I bought tickets for Lazio v fiorentina for the day after the Italy v England rugby and they’re still keeping my money until Lazio decide whether they are going to refund ticket money, and seeing as the big 5 clubs in Italy said in early April that they wouldn’t,Im stuck in limbo.Or at least my money is.
Wish I paid on the credit card now.
Also bought rugby tickets which hasn’t been refunded yet either.
