Next person with anything to say against Nick London and Andy Sinton can see me in my fcking office after that tonight.

Among the highlights...

An angry Andy Hinchcliffe rant about how lucky Niko Hamalainen was not to be sent off, for a foul committed by Chrissy Willock, during a prolonged close up of Chrissy Willock, and two replays of Chrissy Willock committing the foul.

Ivan Toney being tackled cleanly by Niko on the edge of the box, charging down the field frustrated, booting Niko up in the air, not getting booked, and Hinchliffe saying he didn't really blame him for being frustrated for not being awarded an obvious foul on the edge of the box, over multiple replays of Niko taking the ball off him.

A lovely five minute first half piece on how many left footers Brentford have signed, identified as a gap in the market demographic by the notoriously wonderful Brentford recruitment department. Enjoyed that, while the game went on in the background.

A wonderful two minute segment on who did what introduction song on Brentford's recent road trip to Barnsley. Neil Diamond for Ivan Toney apparently. Fascinating.

On the bright side, very excited for England's chances in the Euroes with Toney golden booting it from the front.

Fck me, seriously, we are spoilt with Andy and Nick. Having that simpering queef bleched into my ear for 90 minutes tonight almost made me think I was a Brentford fan myself.

Hinchcliffe has been openly anti-Rangers for every commentary game he's ever done on us. I think someone said once he'd even said he doesn't like us. Not sure why, must be something from his playing days.
He's terrible either way. Someone hits it over the bar - 'he should've hit that lower'. Someone's corner hits first man 'he shouldn't have hit the first man'. Player kicks ball out instead of finding his man 'he should have passed to his team-mate.' King of stating the obvious - and nothing else.

Bare bones.

They also made a sarcastic comment about an off the ball incident where Jansen took out Dykes. They were almost giggling when they said that someone had checked and Jansen 'was involved'

They acted more like Brentford's club commentary that London & Sinton are for QPR.

I just remembered the disparaging comment about Les Ferdinand. By Hinchcliffe I think referring to him as our “overlord” (sniggers in background) when discussing comments LF made about similarities between Chair and Peter Beardsley.

Also does anyone know who the women was, presenting the show in the studio - out of interest?

Thst would be the Peter Beardsley who recieved a ban for racially abusing players ..Sky is really bumping along the bottom at the moment employing a neanderthal like Hinchcliffe sums it up ..

I just checked and he was on the end of quite a few drubbings from us in the 90s playing for Everton. Including the 5-3 at Goodison Pk in 1993 when LF scored a hat trick. Only made the bench for the Bradley Allen hat trick game the following season.

Although he did manage to score a last minute winner against us at Loftus Rd in 1995.

I was just sat here thinking that t wat hinchcliie or what ever he's called scored from a free kick at LR for Everton in the dying minutes.
For the life of me I couldn't remember when it was, that day I was sat in the Ellersie , left the ground thinking what a k hunt he was.
I was right.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

Yeah I heard him talk about it on the podcast he's on (Set Piece Menu, which is v good otherwise actually). Was reliving his last minute free kick winner in 94 and said he had copped particularly fearful grief of the bum-nose variety in the corners all game, or possibly every time he played here I can't recall. Held a grudge ever since.

Considering every fanbase thinks a commentator has it in for them it's kind of refreshing to have a case where it's factually accurate. He may as well just admit it on air and make a panto of it at this point.

A couple of things I have noticed about Andy Sinton

1. He sees things coming before they happen (i.e. he reads the game)
2. He has a gift for selecting the mot juste to describe what's happened

Yeah, occasionally you'll have to put up with a broadcast hosted by partisan commentators of other clubs and I've always found it striking that Sinton has a great balance of emotive urgency without making it one-sided armchair heckling. He's still professional enough to portray it as a contest.

Brummie local radio especially bad at feeling like being sat next to some gobby cnt in a pub, unsurprisingly.

Probably not got particularly fond memories of Sinton, Sinclair, Impey, Bardsley et al handing him his own arse every time we played him in the 90s.

Got to about 75 minutes of watching on Sky then took Brian Mc’s advice on watching Sky on mute with Nick London and Andy Sinton commentating. Took a bit of pausing Sky to get both in sync but made the last 10 minutes more bearable.

Andy Hinchcliffe makes Alan Smith sound as inspirational as Tony Robbins on co-comentary.

I think I’d prefer Steve Claridge and Alan Brazil at their worse. ABAH

Not sure if you stayed around for the post match interviews but the Sky interviewer asked Toney about his singing a couple of times and if he would give a rendition. Then he asked their Manager about it as well. Neil Diamond will be asking for royalties it got so much air time.

About to watch Wales v England in rugby union international Autumn Cup.
Not on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 or SKY but it is on Welsh TV SC4.
Won't understand a word of commentary as it's in Welsh!!!
So that's a bonus - instead of last night's TV commentary on QPR.
Apologise to Welsh R'ssss.
Will attempt to synchronise radio commentary.

And a terrible TV broadcaster! "Goals galore' after a 2-1 score - what was she on? She seemed rather hysterical to me. (Sorry for any political incorrectness!)

I noticed that too. Obviously I am massively biased but how is someone being taken out funny? It is a contact sport but it's not a combat sport. Perhaps I have this wrong but I thought I did hear laughter in connection with one of the off the ball incidents involving Dykes, maybe it was the one you mention.

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."
