I agree that every team has its arguments. Don't like it being aired on Newstalk, though.

Chaz probably politely asking "Geoff mate, why do 50% of your passes go straight to the oppo".

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

And Geoff said "I bet I can shoot straighter than you"?

Chas made the mistake of flexing his biceps and saying “Look at my guns”. Geoff responded with a picture of his “Games” Room.

A ‘Celebrity Deathmatch’ between these two would be classic.

Instinctively I agree with this, but listening to the interview it's all in good heart; Charlie isn't slagging off Cameron on air, the story is actually produced when he's being invited to have a pop at Johansen for his miss, and the punchline is that everyone knew it was Johansen's fault and the latter was the first to put his hands up.

Doesn't come over as dirty laundry aired in public, more that there is honesty among the players - Cameron said the defeat "wasn't good enough" (it wasn't) Charlie said the defence had screwed up (they had) and Johansen said none of it would matter if he'd put away his sitter (also true.)

Maybe so, Cider,

It's probably just me. I just have this in-built thing that public utterances and appearances carry far more risk than reward. We've seen it all here at Rangers. It rarely ends well.

I think it’s a good thing, for too long I think that the team has been too nice. It’s interesting that it’s the three senior players involved, the young players probably lack the confidence to speak this way. It shows a desire exists to win matches rather than just shrug and move on. If the team is going to start competing for a play off place in future seasons this attitude is important.

Listened to it on drive home, so only first 25 mins of that show really.

Something and nothing but I would prefer one of our current players wasn't basically hosting a show (or partly) for all the above stuff on that feed.

All that being said he comes across well but that's not really the point for me.

What is interesting to me, even before this, is to see if they've considered giving Charlie the armband? If he'd started the season with us, it's a pretty safe bet he'd have been made captain. I'd like see it, personally, particularly if we actually had fans in attendance.

If Amos and Carroll were both still fit Cameron probably wouldn't be playing. At least i hope not.

(I bloody hope our players don't read this stuff, it must sound so bad). No offence intended, Geoff, i just love our Bonnie Prince Charlie, and no, i don't mean Dykes...)

This. Chaz wants that armband. Give him the number nine while they're at it. Nobodies' using it at the moment, ahem.

I sort of like it. Every team has players that stand up and lead, which means confronting and fixing things not just saying the cliche "we need to play 90 minutes" crap. I'm sure the locker room looks up to him, and its up to Austin and few others to show drive, not accept mediocrity, and push for better.

Looking at it from another angle, if Amos and Carroll were both fit, we wouldn't have signed Johansen, who I think has been our best player since he arrived.

Not that I wish those injuries on the other two lads

You're not wrong.

I think this particular interview was OK but of course the trouble is that radio is entertainment and controversy is entertaining. I wish none of our players were regulars on any media platform because sooner or later it's trouble but I suppose we have two understand that Charlie Austin is looking to a future career maybe in the media and it's part of how we can afford him.
