How's that water pressure holding up? - Fans Forum on 07:23 - Mar 24 with 3344 views | nix | Good god, it takes balls of steel to sit through these fora. How the panel manage to patiently answer the same old guff year in/year out is up there with the mysteries of what happened before the Big Bang and who was on the Grassy Gnoll. Thanks for the precis Clive, to save us from having to sit through the whole thing. I'm sure that if there was a Venn diagram of: people who think the club has no ambition and should spend, spend, spend; people who ask if there is a free stream on match days cos they don't want to pay for one; and people who think the club should be giving out more stuff for free, there would be a substantial overlap in the middle. They just come across as a group of guys who are genuinely doing their best to secure the future of the club against ridiculously challenging circumstances. They make mistakes, because it's not all an exact science, they hold their hands up to them. Quite honestly, they're better than the shower of sh*ts who are running our country (not party political point, as I think the other lot would be similarly sh*t).
How's that water pressure holding up? - Fans Forum on 08:35 - Mar 24 with 3219 views | BrianMcCarthy | Thanks as ever, Clive. Personally I'm delighted that we are we are reduced to giving out about a few fans. For many years we were giving out about the people running the club.

How's that water pressure holding up? - Fans Forum on 09:07 - Mar 24 with 3137 views | Noelmc | Thanks Clive. Much appreciated I actually watched it on FB, which was hard work, and wished I'd just waited for your report. The latter was comprehensive and far more entertaining (a very low bar admittedly) with some LOL moments. If Lee Hoos is looking for additional revenue streams, I'd happily pay a few quid for the Club to disable the comments facility, but allow you to provide a live text commentary. Something similar to your much missed Transfer Deadline Day text commentary would work a treat. I do however think it's good that the Club hold these events and usually find it reinforces my opinion that those involved LH/LF/MW and Paul Morrissey are all doing a very good job.
How's that water pressure holding up? - Fans Forum on 09:35 - Mar 24 with 3057 views | Wegerles_Stairs | From what Hoos said and what everyone must know already, we need a new stadium ASAP to become sustainable. One would hope the club would be viewed as a community asset and get on with sorting out LCS but if they don't, then the club will have to relocate. It really is as simple as that: staying where we are, however much we love the old place, is not sustainable. I know local councils are pretty useless but how difficult is it to make a decision? You have a local football club that needs a new stadium - either let us redevelop LCS or we are out of here. Very frustrating.

How's that water pressure holding up? - Fans Forum on 10:33 - Mar 24 with 2916 views | Antti_Heinola | Thanks so much for doing that Clive, really appreciated I'm sure by all of us! Bazza made a point yesterday I think about how he's a big proponent of fan ownership, but things like this don't help his cause much. I have to agree. Some of the questions on there... jesus. I remember the urban myth at school about the kid who got so fed up in an exam they put two pencils in their nostrils and and then slammed them down on the desk. I'm constantly surprised Les or Lee don't do something like that. Fair play to them for fronting up to these things. I almost wonder whether we could elect some sort of panel for this stuff rather than a free for all. Say 4 fans of good, sensible standing and they field gripes in advance and weed out the cr@p about water pressure and website logins and present reasonable questions that aren't the same ones posed every single timeto receive the same answers. Get more of your top shelf / middle shelf prizes in there, essentially. Slightly less democratic, but probably healthier for everyone. Then blow up Facebook and Twitter. Sorted.

I was just thinking that as I was reading. Cant we have some fans , who think about the questions and listen to the answers of the questions before . Some fans who realise the situation the Club is in and appraise the board in that context . Some fans who dont ask frankly embarrassing questions like "Does Todd Kane practice crossing the ball "or "will next years programme go up in price". Credit to the club for putting it on in the circumstances but after everyone of them I am left with the feeling that the fanbase has come across as a bit thick . For a start there are at least 6 posters on here that i would be happy to represent me at a fans forum .

One of the comments on Facebook during the stream was genuinely along the lines of why is the programme smaller this season.

How's that water pressure holding up? - Fans Forum on 14:02 - Mar 24 with 2478 views | flynnbo | Thank you very much for the report. We do have some supporters (like all clubs, I'm sure) who need to read and understand what is being said by those who know best how the club is run on a day to day basis. Let's hope they understand a little bit more and realise LH, MW, LF and others are trying their best in extremely difficult circumstances even though mistakes may well be made. At least we still have a club to support and they are endeavouring to maintain it that way.

Yes we have “Some” supporters who don’t realise that many clubs are in similar situations at best or have their heads in the sand and have a shock coming.Reading through the report just highlights what little financial impact us supporters have when buying STs match day tickets or from club shop.I doubt if most championship clubs without parachute payment could afford to run profitable even with regular 40,000 crowds.

Did you read the report? As much as LH wants a new stadium, the options are very limited and, at this stage anything to do with LCS is down to the Council. TINA (there is no alternative).

'Philosophically, there can be no 'before' the Big Bang, as time, space, gravity, electromagnetism etc all began at that point, so temporal references based on linear causality can only be meaningful within our universe. I'm surprised there hasn't been more attention directed at the Council and individual Councillors by fans. Potentially, they could be making a huge decision that will affect all of us, and yet we don't seem to be lobbying them, or even finding out what way they're likely to swing. Councillors generally have smallish majorities and a few thousand R's fans votes could make all the difference to their reelection prospects.
