I guess quite a few of us in the UK feel a bit helpless to the situation going on so these kind of ideas crop up to try and do something, but I agree with PP that football is getting saturated with these token gestures, and as Paul rightly points out that football needs to get its own house in order. There's plenty of other ways of donating money to the course.
QPR have been really good in other areas and Greenfell was a particularly good example.
