For those of you of a certain age who thought your football playing days were behind you and maybe interested in taking up walking football for fitness, make friends etc. I play at Moulton Masters in Northampton and we have a few QPR lads who play at the club. I recommend this book(Walking Back To Happiness) put together by QPR fan Steve Batchelor about walking football experiences at Moulton Masters and the musings of over 20 players their football and life experiences, quite a few references to QPR in the book as well. It is available at Amazon as a Kindle or hardback. Proceeds will be going to our defibrillator fund. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Walking-Back-Happiness-Tales-Footballers/dp/1802275185/

Who was the Helen Shapiro fan? Just down loaded it. I play for the Sticky Wicket team near me so will most likely be able to relate to some of the stories

That's great, think it must be Steve, was going to be called Walking with Dinosaurs but a bit close to our ages.
