So what you are implying is the manager and the president hand picked pretty young women for their world cup squad and for what reason are you suggesting this.

These pretty young handpicked cuties as you are implying only picked for their looks, they won the world cup.

You need elaborate on your point.

Yes I know nothing about this from the perspective you are suggesting

I was saying should be dealt with not under the world's gaze and quickly and quietly.

it has detracted totally from the real story of their team winning the world cup with style.

And I not at all denigrating it as an unwanted advance but less than 1% of rapes , get reported and only about 30% of those end in a conviction and this although bad is just a kiss. As said my girlfriend was full on rape. I know the difference personally and the impact.

Did you see videos three days before the complaint of all the girls laughing on the bus and joking about it. They did not seem traumatised.

Anyhow the only got in pretty young things, they got selected because they were great at football, world cup winners !! That is really odd thing to say.

Wow! what a take. You have posted that without looking into the subject matter. The implication is yours, not mine, I know why the all the old established players refused to play under Vilda. Why would the replacements be traumatised before the incident? Perhaps doing your own research on the background to the incident will allow to come to your own conclusion, rather than rely on my interpretation of the facts.

You didn't read a word of what I said.

I never said it was right.

Your reply is full of unsubstantiated rumours about why a new squad was chosen.
If you have something to say, then please tell. I just said the new squad won the world cup.

I don't have the time to Google on this so please tell or forever hold your peace !!!

And believe it or not, Mr Google is 95% of the time inaccurate!!

Lets put some perspective on this and the modern public courtroom we live in.

Gary Neville did it to Paul Scholes (don't know how to embed the picture so here's a link ... https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/the-day-pau ) Yet I didn't see the gingers out in force asking for a public hanging.

Guy did wrong in the heat of the moment and should be spoken to about it...then he should of made an apology. Instead...BOOM!

Dont know why we bother. .... but we do!

Comes up with nothing.

No need be abusive

An occasional quote from former player.

But also quotes from others insinuating the opposite. Point being made, googling achieves nothing as does not confirm or deny past histories. Reporting us easily biassed towards one way or another to manipulate minds.

Hence why saying googling there is no point

Am sure he is an unpleasant man but I was highlighting fact this is minor compared to what doesn't get reported or prosecuted in every day life

Full on rapes. And as said which you glossed over , my girlfriend was raped and not reported crime ie too traumatised.

So was not saying it wasn't bad, just in essence to other such actions it's.more minor.

But then you implied.the entire squad almost got changed for Spain because Ribiales sexual harrassment of the players previous, hence why entirely new squad.

Perhaps I would suggest they picked because.they were better players ie they won World Cup.

But you given no evidence of Rubiales sexually harassing previous squad of players and banning them all. I asked you for evidence of this and have googled that also and it has come up as.diddly.squat

Show me that evidence . I have tried find and nothing

You won't though but you will probably say something abusive my way and won't elaborate or show anything you have found

Done this on my lunch break chap and got go back work.

Am.saying I done enough on this and found nowt. Paste your evidence and I will read it and judge.

Good luck to you.

Stop trying to out-prove each other. It gets nowhere. We see this on so many other threads. No one yields, just the same stance. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I don't know where this post is going to go really, but I felt compelled to say something before I go properly off grid for a couple of days later on this morning.

I've been in Edinburgh this week with the day job - hectic 14-hour day sort of days. I'm now travelling for a couple of days through the Highlands which is something I've wanted to do for a while and, after the way last season went and how I felt at the end of it, have decided to do a little bit more of this season - huge thanks to the several of you who offered to help out with match reports and the like which has enabled me to do that, and good luck to Danny Paddox with his first swing at one of those tomorrow. Despite this, the history, referee, oppo interview, and preview have all been written and posted to time and to a reasonable standard (if not firing on all LFW cylinders) - written on trains, in the bag of cabs, in hotel rooms late at night, in press rooms when I'm meant to be doing day jobā€¦

On top of that we've had the Mason Greenwood thread, the India on the moon thread and the bloody Russian thread and all of the half baked conspiracy theory, frequently offensive stuff that's gone along with that. Monitoring these threads for legals, libels, threats against other posters, links, takes time, effort, judgement, consideration. None of which I've really had a lot of to give this week, but have nevertheless done anyway out of dedication to keeping the site going. Dedication that has now stretched across 20 years, and really only now continues because so many of you are so generous with your Patreon contributions. Without that I'd have walked away 18 months ago.

I'm constantly wrestling with a few things on this forum. I want to try to keep it open and flowing to all discussions and debates, I think it's a better board like that. Thereā€™s some seriously interesting non-football debate and discussion on here which is to all of your credit. I've heard the suggestions about separating it out into different topics, but I hate message boards that are run like that and don't want to do it. I'm also conscious that you need a range of viewpoints, and that just because I disagree with what you're saying personally doesn't mean I can delete the posts or direct the traffic towards my POV - I disagree with a great many of you on a great many things BTW, but it's not much of a message board if only what Clive thinks and feels is allowed. I'm also acutely aware of all the high and mighty "free speech" and "censorship" stuff that gets thrown around.

The Mason Greenwood thread is a prime example actually ā€“ some of the stuff on there I find absolutely abhorrent, and I cannot believe anybody listens to that recording and reaches that point of view, but reading between the lines thereā€™s clearly some posters on that thread with close, personal experiences that are worth listening to and taking into account, so Iā€™ve tried to keep that one ticking over and going however offensive some people may find some of the posts on it. But that takes time, and effort, and judgement, and consideration. There will be inconsistencies. Iā€™ll get stuff wrong. But I try.

However... Itā€™s a football message board. Itā€™s not here for Hunter Bidenā€™s fcking laptop conspiracy nutjobs, or Laurence Fox videos. Youā€™ve got all manner of other places on the internet for that, I think the vast majority of people here donā€™t want to be subjected to it on a QPR site, and I am now at a point where I not only donā€™t want to read and moderate it but am also not willing to do so. I think in the interests of trying to maintain those points in that previous paragraph, and a chronic lack of self confidence, esteem and belief on my own part, I have allowed things to go on here that I donā€™t like, hate personally, and at times have made me feel like complete sht. If this season is going to be as long and hard as it looks, Iā€™m not willing to trawl across the country covering a losing team, while at the same time logging onto my own message board and seeing topics, posts and poster names who make my heart sink and cause me aggro. Iā€™ve got to look after myself better this season than I did last, or Iā€™m going to end up exactly what my dad was ā€“ dead at 44. To that end, I have now deleted the Sakura account and will delete any of his future attempts to start other ones. Iā€™m not being stalked and bullied on my own website and I'm not providing a platform for anonymous internet trolls. I get enough of it on social media where I canā€™t control it but here I can. If youā€™ve got a problem with this then please feel free to DM me or, as I said to him many times, remember there are several other QPR websites and message boards you can use if you donā€™t like this one and/or me.

It's just football guys, that's all it is. However much I might wind you up, however often you disagree with me, however much I irritate you, Iā€™m a QPR fan too, just trying to provide this site and service for you all to use and enjoy. Yes like everyone, am glad for Clives work on here and hope he can allow a few others to help as its hard for one person to take full responsibility.

Hope you can Clive and hope you had a decent break.

Always good to recharge.

I learnt the hard way with a previous job and the fall out of too much stress had a long lasting impact.

I guess the football chat and other debates could be separated into different forums but takes time and dedication,

I enjoy being on here myself and yes the Internet can be a jungle.

"less than 1% of rapes get reported..."

Genuine question, as I've never understood such stats and therefore doubt their validity. How on earth would anyone know that 99% of rapes aren't reported if they were never reported? Classic oxymoron.

I think his 1% figure is low in terms of reporting, so interesting to hear his source. Maybe he was confusing with only 1.9% of complaints being prosecuted.

Best, and if course, saddest estimates, are: 83% of women and 80% of men do not report rapes; implying 17% and 20% do respectivey. The non-reporting is mainly because of embarrassment, fear of humiliation, or not feeling the police will take seriously.

The stats around rape, sexual assaults, convictions etc., are sobering (see below). It's why ensuring society is confident that it has a proper functioning system, yielding appropriate outcomes, is paramount.

Gary Neville has at best made some ā€œoddā€ reactions to the cases involving Ryan Giggs and Mason Greenwood. Heā€™s somehow managed to escape more scrutiny. He certainly isnā€™t anyone the young kids should like at in terms of treatment and respect towards women.

Itā€™s got nothing to do with being woke or not.

As Clive has mentioned on many occasions heā€™s responsible legally for what is said on here.
People canā€™t just go throwing all sorts of comments and accusations etc around especially concerning ongoing legal cases.

Most of the times the opinions are fine but they have a habit of descending rapidly, especially when the likes of Ruusian_Bot/Sakura jump on and thatā€™s when it gets contentious.

But if everyone is happy for Clive to end up in trouble and this site closed down, fill your boots.

Thatā€™s all that people are being askedā€¦. think about what you are saying and the potential consequences.
