Armageddon Leicester City at Home Match Thread 09:11 - Oct 27 with 46626 viewsnumptydumpty

Weirdly, I am looking forward to this one.

We all know Rangers win the games they shouldn't and lose the ones that they should win.

Form wise, this is minimum five nil home defeat.

Strangely, I am optimistic.

But it's basically a free hit. We all expect to be annihilated. I have absolutely zero evidence that my prediction is even anywhere near possible.

But I am going for a Desmond. Two Two....

Yes I know. Definitely will keep taking the tablets !!!

I expect it is a 5 3 2 with Cannon Kakay and Field CBs, Albert and Paal WB's, Dozzell , Colbakk and Chair midfield, Dykes and Kellman up front.

Or 5 3 1 1 with Dykes playing deeper as has been the case lately.

If it's 442

Cannon Kakay Field Paal
Albert, Dozzell, Colback, Chair
Dykes Kellman

Then we could see double figures.

Kelman and Adomah keeping Smyth and Willock out of the team. Smyth seems to be totally out of favour, almost as as if the bad run is mostly his fault even though we've done worse since he was benched.

Willock on the bench again. Why not play him instead of Kelman? Give him some game time otherwise he will never regain the form we know he's capable of.

No sign of Armstrong did he get a knock in training or was he punished for his attitude when he was pulled off last few games .Hope its the former because players should be angry to be subbed out .
Not looking like a home win with that team

Whek Kelman gets on front of you, thats you're lot Chris.

Nah, hopefully, that's Gareth's lot. A new manager will find a way to get Chair and Willock on the pitch.

Whatever happens today, go Gareth, just go.

Can we go out yet?

Starting two strikers with a makeshift defence vs this Leicester team instead of packing out the midfield and hoping for the best.

Brave or brain dead stupidity?

Some tasty odds on Betfair at the Leicester thrashing range of the scores.

2+ goals for Leicester each half, 3+ corners for Leicester each half, and Rangers 2+ cards each half is 150-1. Doesn't seem too far fetched.

Looks a lot like Gaz’s request for his P45 and payoff to me. Can’t blame him.

In Gareth’s world, he’s not 54, so 53 is a positive.

In fairness, looking at that bench, he’s not got much wriggle-room

His somewhat dishevelled look these days, is more reminiscent of Baldrick.

In fact, that's who I think picked the team. 'Lads, I gave a cunning plan!'

That Leicester team is stupidly good too. Imagine having so many centre backs that you can leave Faes and Souttar on the bench and have so many attacking players you can leave Iheanacho and Daka on the bench. Long afternoon

Agree he’s screwed as far as the defence is concerned but for me, Smyth ahead of Adomah and Willock instead of Kelman are no brainers, although I appreciate opinions may differ.

I could only muster 4-4-2 also, but think QPRoslo is probably right. Surely at most we only have one more game of this nonsense.

It’s not ideal but four midfielders on the bench and one of them should be starting instead of Kelman. It makes zero sense to have two strikers on the pitch in a game like this as they’re going to be passengers for most of it.

The more I look at the starting 11, the more it feels like a cry for help.

So sorry I can't make it to Fortress LR today. Good luck to all those who can and I hope for your sake more than mine, that you can get something positive from the game
