I had to send the wine back at the Millwall game.

They probably used the sour grapes coming from the school end to make it.

that burned hot dog could define this season potentially.

I know someone in that picture; do I win anything?

Me too.

I lost a tenner on the horse that went into that hot dog.

Who gave the catering contract to Bob Servant?

That did make me laugh out loud.

I usually get a cup of tea or Bovril.

Many years ago I think the chips were £3.50 for about 9 or 10 in a cardboard thing and Orthodox_Hoop bought one but forgot to get the change for his fiver so it worked out about 50p a chip

I said ages ago we should get a deal with Fuller's, nice beer and local.

It helps if the chips are hot enough for the cheese to melt rather than just sit there on top of lukewarm chips.

You love a free pie though 10 minutes into 2nd half.

Its a bit beyond me as to why anyone would buy food and drink inside a football ground, especially one thats slap bang in the middle of central London.

Food alone there's a enormous Westfield half a mile away, and a Tesco and Sainsbury's within 400m of the stadium.

I'd be willing to bet the club makes hardly any money on its catering facility either, once wastage is taken into account. Certainly nothing that would move an FFP needle!

I honestly don't think they could get it any worse.

A f*cking shambles.

Suffering since 1978.

Doesn’t it mention in certain ‘ visiting HQ ‘ away fan guides that it has one if not the best locations for food.

There is a Pakistani restaurant on the uxbridge road near Blomfentein road called Lahore village.
Amazing food and a real treasurer with the Rangers fans who frequent it. Took my Watford mate in there never seen a man so happy eating.

If that's the one opposite the Coningham, they do a mean lamb curry. Been there years, and fell in there many a time in the 90's to soak up the nights intake.

Also little Napoli next door does one of the best pizzas I've ever had

You'd have thought that qpr might want to maximise their matchday revenue considering we have basically no non-matchday revenue, but no. The "catering" is appalling, poor quality, over priced and served inefficiently by underpaid uninterested staff. Spurs have an onsite brewery at their shiny new super stadium apparently. FFS.

Isn't the catering contracted out & the club only receive income from the fees the contractors pay! Also that the staff costs are not paid by the club?

Looking at that Hot Dog, I would hope that some franchises were not renewed though!

If I'm wrong, an improvement is required immediately.

Quite a few years ago in the Ellerslie Road concourse they had people serving beer from containers on their backs. I thought this was a good idea as it reduced the queues at the bars for people wanting food. No idea why it was stopped.
Given that we still have no ‘Head of Operations’ recruited and our boy CEO will have enough on his hands covering for the lack of DOF , don’t expect any improvement in the catering in the near future. So much for the importance of the ‘match day experience’.

I think there is actually a new head of operations listed in the staff directory now...
